What is the Difference between PVE and PVP Servers in Once Human?

Once Human has been through quite a few revisions of the game over the past few years, each running a different state for both PVE and PVP servers. Even though the game has now been released, we are sure that the game will continue to be developed over time and the state of both PVE and PVP servers may change.

If you are a completionist, along with the differences listed below, you will find Deviants that can only be found on PVE servers and Deviants that can only be found on PVP servers.

At the time of writing this guide, here is how the servers work:

PVE Servers

The general idea behind the PVE Servers is to create a space for players who are not too interested in PVP but still may want to have a try from time to time. The most interesting thing about the PVE Servers is the Warband Boss Fights.

Echo Stones – Exclusive PVP Item for Purification to get Starchrome

Workshop Defence – Exclusive workshop feature

Warband Combat – Guild vs Guild (Warband vs Warband)

Warband Boss Fights – Guild Boss Fights (Warband Boss Fights)

PVP Mode – Players are still able to turn on the PVP mode to attach another player that also turns on PVP mode.

PVP Servers

PVP servers are for the players who want to fight other players more often. However, during the betas we played both PVE and PVP Servers felt like they had the same amount of PVP.

In conclusion, it feels like the Once Human devs need a bit more work on the idea behind the PVP and PVE servers. Warband Boss Fights would be really fun in PVP Servers for the Guilds to do together, and to be honest, so would the Workshop Defence for PVE. The main draw to a PVP server is PVP always on…
