Privacy Policy for our Mobile Apps

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile applications published by Metaforge (Metaforge Gaming Ltd — "Metaforge", "we", "us", "our") — our unofficial companion apps for various games (each, an "App"). It is separate from the privacy policy for our website at metaforge.app, which describes additional practices (such as registered accounts, analytics, and advertising) that do not apply to the Apps.

In short

Our Apps are built to work without an account and without collecting your personal data. Anything you save in an App stays on your device.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the Apps, and we do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data through the Apps.

Data stored on your device

Features such as favourites, saved items, progress tracking, found/collected markers, and app settings are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us and is removed when you delete the App. Some Apps also offer in-app controls to reset this data (for example, clearing favourites or progress).

Network requests and server logs

To show game information, images, and map tiles, the Apps request publicly available game data from our servers. As with any internet request, our servers automatically receive standard technical information — such as your IP address, device type, and the content requested — which is necessary to deliver and secure the content. We use this only to operate, maintain, and protect the service. We do not use it to identify you, build a profile of you, or track you across apps or services.

Third-party services

The Apps contain no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Any analytics or advertising referenced in our website privacy policy applies to the website only, not the Apps.

Children's privacy

The Apps are intended for a general audience and do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

Data security

Because the Apps do not collect personal data and keep your activity only on your device, there is no personal account data held by us to be lost. Network requests use standard encryption (HTTPS).

App-specific notices

If a particular App ever collects information beyond what is described here, that App will disclose it within the App and/or in a supplementary notice, and its App Store privacy details will reflect it.

Metaforge's apps are unofficial, fan-made companions and are not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the publishers of the games they support. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
