Survival games are not called survival without vitals getting low, running out of resources, and much more that will give you a slight panic to survive. Just like in No Man`s Sky, every planet or solar system is a new ground for survival and also to gain access to different materials for your adventures. In this guide, I will show you what the things are to look out for and how to survive while still finding your footing in an unknown world.

Energy Levels on your Technology to help you Survive

Exosuit and other technology tools is your lifeline in surviving, However, They have a mechanic that is called energy that depletes upon usage. This is how to regain to their safe level

Hazard Protection

Hazard Protection is the one that keeps you away from getting harmful chemicals. The hazard or radiation levels will deplete when there is a chemical gas nearby or it will deplete quickly when you are under a storm.

To replenish your radiation level, You need a sodium element. You can get sodium element by harvesting a sodium rich plant. A more advanced sodium resource such as sodium nitrate will be available through a portable refiner.

Life Support

Life support gives you oxygen that enables you to breathe through your exosuit. This is the most important thing to maintain at a safe level.

You can replenish the energy levels of the life support by collecting oxygen through an oxygen-rich plant.

Mining Beam

The mining beam is one of the tools that lets you harvest minerals or elements scattered across a planet.

Getting Carbon from plants can restore the energy for your mining beam. Remember to stack carbon as the mining beam is your primary gathering tool.

Terrain Manipulator

The terrain manipulator is like your pickaxe. It enables you to mine metals underground. However, Using this tool will massively change the terrain.

The energy used in the terrain manipulator is ferrite dust. This element is easily collected through rocks that are abundant everywhere.

Building your base to Survive

Another way to regain the hazard protection is by building your base. As seen in the image, my hazard protection is back to 100 percent and is not depleting. Even my oxygen levels are stable. Thus, it is best to fix your stuff inside a base to preserve and survive more efficiently.
