NEW Jurassic Park Game – Clawed
Clawed, developed by Flatrock Games, is set to transport players to Prehistoria, a sprawling, dilapidated dinosaur theme park that has long since fallen from its former glory. If you’ve ever imagined what it might be like to navigate a dinosaur-infested environment, this game appears to be designed with that very premise in mind.

Clawed isn’t just about avoiding large, toothy creatures; it’s an action-adventure survival horror game that emphasizes exploration and puzzle-solving. Players will need to scavenge resources, outwit formidable predators, and uncover the park’s secrets.

The setting of Prehistoria itself is a character in this experience, promising diverse biomes, unsettling underground tunnels, and dangerous enclosures that will test your ability to survive. It’s clear that the developers are aiming for a sense of tension and vulnerability, reminding players that they are far from the apex predator in this particular ecosystem.

For those just beginning their journey into Prehistoria, the initial hours can be a bit daunting. Knowing where to find essential items and how to navigate the early areas can make a significant difference in your survival prospects. To assist with this, we’ve put together a few introductory tips that should help you get your bearings within the park.

Navigating Your First Steps in Prehistoria: A Beginner’s Guide
Getting started in Clawed requires a methodical approach. Don’t rush in headfirst; take your time to secure what you can.
- Pistol on the pier where you spawn, with ammo: Upon your initial arrival, make sure to locate the pistol and its accompanying ammunition on the pier. This will be your very first line of defense and is crucial for early engagements or deterring threats.
- Take the monorail into the Park: The monorail isn’t just for sightseeing in Prehistoria; it’s your primary means of transportation into the deeper, more dangerous sections of the park. Utilize it to move efficiently and minimize exposure to immediate threats outside the main entrance.
- Security card and more ammo found in the Shelter: Once inside the park, prioritize finding the Shelter. This location is vital for two reasons: you’ll secure a security card, which is necessary for progression, and you’ll find additional ammunition, a resource that is always in high demand in a place like Prehistoria.
- Head into Prehistoria by using the lever to the left of the gate – you will need to use your security card to enter: With the security card in hand, proceed to the main gate. The lever to the left will activate the mechanism, but remember, the security card is essential for gaining entry into the broader park. This is where the real challenge of Clawed begins.
- As you enter head to your right and look for the Staff Center, here you will find the Museum key: Once you’ve entered the main area of Prehistoria, immediately head to your right. Your objective should be the Staff Center. Inside, you’ll discover the Museum key, an important item for accessing further areas and advancing objectives.
- Opposite the Medical Center which you will find next to the Staff Center, you can pick up some Shotguns and some Ammo: Survival in Clawed often hinges on having the right tools. Directly opposite the Medical Center, which is conveniently located near the Staff Center, you’ll find a supply of shotguns and more ammunition. The shotgun provides a significant increase in stopping power compared to the pistol, which will be beneficial in close quarters with the park’s more aggressive inhabitants.
- Next you need to find the Fossil which you will find in one of the toilet blocks. This will save you coming back out: To streamline your progress, make your way to one of the toilet blocks. Hidden within, you’ll find a fossil. Acquiring this now will prevent you from having to backtrack later, which can be particularly dangerous when dealing with the unpredictable nature of Prehistoria.
- Once you have the Fossil make your way into the Museum where you will see a glowing red light, go and place your Fossil on there to open the door. In the back of the Museum you will find the South Terminal Key. With the fossil secured, proceed to the Museum. Inside, you’ll spot a distinct glowing red light. Interact with this point to place the fossil, which will unlock a hidden door. Beyond this door, in the back of the Museum, you’ll find the South Terminal Key, another critical item for further exploration and progression within Clawed.
Clawed is currently slated for a Q3 2025 release on Steam. Make sure to keep an eye on our website for future information. The concept of exploring a fallen dinosaur park is certainly an appealing one, and if the developers can deliver on the survival horror and puzzle elements, it could be a noteworthy addition to the genre. We’re looking forward to seeing more of Prehistoria as the release approaches.
