How to Change Server in ROB RUN (Surrender to the Feds)
ROB RUN puts you on one server, or "state", at a time. There is no simple server menu: to move, you surrender to the feds, serve your sentence, and pick a new state when you break out. Here is how it works and what you lose.
How to change server
Open Settings.
Go to the Other tab.
Choose Surrender to Feds and confirm.
You go to prison. Talk to the Tattoo Artist, then use an escape point.
When you escape, the game lets you go to the nearest state or choose a state yourself. Pick the server you want.
What you lose
Surrendering to the feds is a fresh start in the new state. The game warns you before you confirm:
All your belongings in the current state are confiscated: your base, property and items there.
You get a prison sentence for the crimes you committed.
Unclaimed mail rewards are lost, because rewards apply only to the server they were sent on. Claim your mail first.
What you keep
Your jail time counts. Jail time is your standing in the criminal world, and longer sentences unlock rewards such as tattoos. The more the feds confiscate, the longer the sentence.
B-Coin. B-Coin is bought with credits and held like crypto, and the feds cannot touch it in a seizure.
The Highlands exception
Players living in the Highlands can move to a new state and keep their property. The catch: that is where the strongest players gather with everything they have built up, so expect a fight.
Tips before you switch
Claim all your mail rewards.
Spend or convert what you can: anything left in the state is confiscated.
Check with your clan and friends which state they are on. You can still meet players from other servers in Looty Bay, but your base and settlement are per state.
New servers open automatically as existing ones fill up, and on a schedule, so a fresh state is a good place for a clean start.
