Your Raiders Den – Your “Home” in Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders just dropped an update on their Discord server giving us some exciting information on a new feature, “The Den,” a personal living space for Raiders that improves as we progress through the game!
This new addition looks to be a personal space for players in the game’s central hub, Speranza, which seems to be the main home base for players between missions. Dusty mentions, they think every Raider needs a place to rest after a long day of “gunning down ARC.” The Den sounds like it’s a home away from home. While it starts as a basic, somewhat rundown room with a metal cot and peeling decorations, it’s a place for players to call their own.

The Raider’s Progression
What’s interesting about The Den is that it’s more than just a place to sleep. The developers have said that as you progress through the game and collect loot, your Den will also evolve with you. It seems like the goal is to make this space a living visual representation of your journey and achievements in the game.
You can expect to see various “trinkets” and items you find on missions displayed on shelves and throughout the room. Your best weapons will also be proudly mounted on the walls. The developers specifically mentioned that even something as simple as fifteen rubber ducks could be a valuable item to display, which is a nice touch and hints at a fun collectibles system.
Why a Personal Space Matters
From a player’s perspective, having a personalized space like The Den is a great idea. It adds a layer of visual progression beyond just your character’s gear. It gives players a reason to search for interesting items and adds a sense of ownership to the game. It’s a nice way to see a more concrete, visual history of your adventures without having to dig through menus. The idea of walking into a room and seeing all your hard-earned trophies and unique finds laid out is a good one and helps build a stronger connection to your character’s journey.
The developers have also hinted that they plan to continue refining The Den feature, and it will be exciting to see what else they add to it as the game gets closer to release. Overall, this sounds like a very positive step in the right direction.
We’re excited for the launch of Arc Raiders and will be updating you guys with anything new that we find out, as well as developing our user tools such as our Interactive Maps and Loadout Planner!
