Inscription Upon a Gravestone
Description
Here lie those who fell from the cliffs along the southern line of South Aust. We buried them with neither priest nor mason. They had no coffins, no shrouds, no final prayers. All we had were broken spear shafts and voices that still remembered their names. It was not the king who raised this stone. The eleven who survived raised it with their own hands. Traveler, speak their names as you pass. For so long as they are spoken, they are not forgotten.
