Records of the Goddess Nui
Description
Eanna Nimush reached the Garden, the source of all creation, where she gained dominion over the Hereafter and was reborn as the Goddess Nui. Today, Nui is associated with lilies, mercy, and peace. However, in ancient Auroria, she was revered as the goddess of the Hereafter, salvation, and the passage of death. Statues of her still stand throughout the Astron Plains as remnants of that older faith. The Astron Plains became an escape route during the time of the Great Chaos. Goddess Nui opened a gate to lead the refugees to safety, sacrificing her life and divine power. Her final tears, mixed with the essence of the Groa spirits that perished with her, scattered among the ruins and became known as Nui's Tears. Now, as pioneers return to Auroria, Nui Statues and Flame of Rebirth are raised wherever traces of the goddess remain, creating sanctuaries for wandering souls. - Antiquary Society Research Records
