Ark 2 First Trailer Breakdown

Gameawards 2020 announced the first trailer for ARK 2! In this article we will break down the first short trailer so we can see what is going on.

Ark 2 First Trailer

It starts out with Vin Diesel as the leading character in a prehistoric land, with his tribe. They start by walking through the jungle terrain and getting ambushed by another orcish-looking tribe.

You can see them fighting for their lives in a brutal attack, which gets interrupted by a massive T-Rex. They manage to flee from the area and get safe. 

It then shows the tribe going into a cave area and the implants in their arms start glowing. This shows a connection to the first game, Ark Survival Evolved, as this is how specimens are created and hold their memories. 

In the Ark 2 first trailer, it also shows they’ve discovered a bioscanner which shows Vin diesels specimen id name is Santiago Da Costa. It also seems like he can use this panel to change the “world” they are in. 

This all ends with them walking out of the cave and showing an overlook of the world they are in. Showing more ARK dinosaurs such as the pteranodon. Although this was the first trailer, in recent updates, the game has been announced for 2024, due to massive delays. This is because Studio Wildcard are going to be using a new engine, UE5. The development team also want to create a masterpiece of a game.
