The Crafted Spear is a tool to catch fish, and is a melee and ranged weapon that can be crafted by the player. Its melee damage is unimpressive, but it makes up for it with its reach, and the ability to throw it for a ranged attack. The thrown spear is powerful enough to stun cannibals and even mutants, giving the player an opening to run close, retrieve the spear, and possibly get a few jabs in before retreating to a safe distance to repeat the strategy. The player is able to both jab and throw the spear using only one hand, allowing the other hand to hold the flashlight. You can carry up to 5 spears in total.
