Popular Fantasy Extraction Game Dark And Darker Game Rating Officially Issued In Korea

Today, Ironmace, the developers behind the hit title Dark and Darker took to their official Discord to announce some great news!

For those in the know, Ironmace has been locked in legal struggles with Nexon regarding the legitimacy of Dark and Darker and it’s origin. Developer “SDF” took to Discord to announce that the official Dark and Darker game rating has been received from the official Korean Game Rating Board!

While this could potentially not mean a lot, it also brings up a few questions. Such as why would Ironmace push to obtain their official rating if things were not proceeding smoothly in court? Thoughts like these outwardly suggest the possibility that Dark and Darker is looking to be close to legal freedom. As a result, a popularity boom of the game could happen. Especially if Dark and Darker had a triumphant return to Steam after being taken down.

What is Dark and Darker?

Dark and Darker is a Fantasy Extraction & Battle Royale styled game. Set in a heavily Dungeon’s and Dragon’s inspired universe, players are tasked with entering incredibly brutal dungeons, solo or with friends. The players are then tasked with looting, slaying monsters and escaping with treasure. However, other players can attack you at any point, so be aware! The game has a very social aspect to it inside and outside the dungeons with a large player base.
