What is a Construction Research Unit?

A construction research unit is one of the deployable units of technology accessed while completing the first quest. It enables users to acquire different blueprints for new technology to use on their base.

It also enables you to research various structures to customize your base further. The materials can be unlocked from timber, alloy, to metal.

To unlock blueprints, you will need a salvaged module in exchange for the recipes. These salvaged module is scattered across the planet and some of them are at a far distances.

How to Locate and Get Salvaged Data?

Using your analysis visor, look for a “Buried Technology Module.” The icon would look like a signal, like in the picture above. Head over to the location.

Once you are at the location, switch your tool to the terrain manipulator and dig the buried module.

The technology module is here! Claim and you will receive 1 salvage data per buried technology module to spend on the construction research unit. Let`s head back
