The Machete is a light weapon with moderate damage and some capability of blocking. Due to the low stamina drain for the damage output and the ability to stagger opponents combined with its speed, it can sometimes be more useful than the Katana against single opponents, especially Fingers. However, it lacks the limb-severing abilities that make the katana a great melee weapon for crowds.
