Where to Find the Elderflower in Palia

If you’re looking for Elderflower in Palia, the short answer is: you can find it in the Deepwoods zone of the Elderwood region. However, this rare resource isn’t just lying around — you’ll need to know exactly where (and how) to look. Elderflower is mainly used for crafting Umbraan-themed decorations, making it highly sought-after by players who love to customize their homes with this mysterious, dark-wood aesthetic.

What Makes Elderflower Special

Elderflower is classified as an Epic gatherable, which means it’s very rare. Typically, only one or two Elderflowers spawn at a time throughout the entire Deepwoods zone. Because of this limited availability, finding one can take a bit of time and patience.

Use a Dowsing Rod for Easier Tracking

To improve your chances, we recommend using a Dowsing Rod. This tool helps detect rare gatherables like Elderflower by giving you a signal when you’re near one. It’s extremely helpful in such a large and vertical area like the Deepwoods.

Look High – They Grow on Trees

Unlike most gatherables, Elderflower doesn’t grow on the ground. Instead, it’s found on the sides of the enormous trees in the Deepwoods. You’ll need to climb these trees to find them — so keep your eyes peeled as you ascend.

The good news is Elderflower can spawn at any time of day, so there’s no need to wait for a specific time window.

Pro Tip: Switch Servers to Find More

Once you’ve found the current Elderflower spawns, you may not see another for a while. A clever trick is to return to your home plot and then travel back to the Deepwoods — this sometimes puts you in a new server instance.

Even better, you can join a friend’s server, giving you another shot at freshly spawned Elderflowers. This is especially helpful if you’re trying to gather enough for multiple Umbraan decor pieces.

If you are still looking for more resources in Elderwood, then we have you covered. Here is a complete guide to all the resources that you can find.
