Damage ARC using a single Trailblazer: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To Damage ARC using a single Trailblazer effectively:
- Load into any map that contains a
Bastion or 
Bombardier spawn - Find a good spot to make sure the ARC doesn’t move too much but also provides you cover
- Throw a well-placed Trailblazer at the Bastion or Bombardier
- Your score is judged on a single Trailblazer use, and not total
- You’ll earn up to 4,000-5,000 score on a near-perfect Trailblazer
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Damage ARC using a single Trailblazer.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from dealing damage with a single Trailblazer. If thrown at a large ARC, you can expect the range of 4,000-5,000~ score. The system only measures the highest damage you achieve through a single Trailblazer.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires dealing as much Trailblazer damage as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a gun to defend yourself with and Trailblazer. We recommend bringing:
- Any gun + Ammo you feel like bringing as a back-up plan
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield (recommended to survive accidents with a Bastion or Bombardier)
- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages - As many
Trailblazers as you can afford to bring for more attempts at a high score
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Damage ARC using a single Trailblazer weekly Trial?
No, we do not currently recommend attempting this in a Free Loadout. Trailblazers are a must for the Trial. As a result, a Free Loadout where you cannot bring your own equipment would create a lot of issues.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
There is not a best map to recommend for this Trial. However, you can select a map that has either Bastion or Bombardier spawn, such as Blue Gate. You can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
The strategy is simple, head into the map, find the first big ARC you spot that’s on the ground, and throw!
In our example, I throw my Trailblazer directly at the Bombardier and immediately move inside the building to the left to take cover.
Once you’re safe, you can check your score. If successful like our example, you’ll easily achieve your 3-star reward with some extra on top!
Another potential for the highest score possible is to lure as many Shredders as possible on Stellar Montis into a room and close the doors. Once you have as many as possible, you can throw your Trailblazer and hit them all. Sometimes, this can provide immense score gain compared to a single large ARC. However, only attempt this is you’re pushing for high Trial ranks.
