There are five Ship Models in ARC Raiders added with the Riven Tides update, and you’ll need four of them to complete the Avian Alarm Project before it expires on May 26, 2026. They spawn as loose trinkets on furniture and inside residential containers – mainly on the Riven Tides map, but also on other maps like Buried City and Blue Gate if you know where to look.

How to Find Every Ship Model in ARC Raiders

Ship Models are a new trinket type that came with the Riven Tides update. Each one has a rarity tier, and extracting with one gives you bonus Merits toward the Last Resort event’s Miniature Voyages reward track. Before you start hunting models, do Avian Alarm Stage 1 first: place a bird trap at the buoys in the Seabed area on Riven Tides. No Ship Models needed for that step, and it rewards you with a Dockmaster’s Detector and 25 Raider Tokens. The Detector unlocks Beachcombing, which you’ll need later. Here’s every Ship Model, what it’s worth, and exactly how many you need for the project:

Wind Sprite (Common – 5 Merits)

The Wind Sprite shows up on furniture all over Riven Tides, especially in the Hotel. Not required for the Avian Alarm Project at all – it’s purely a Merit source for the Last Resort event. It shows up everywhere and every time you get slightly excited seeing a ship from a distance, it’s a little disappointing to find just another Wind Sprite on closer inspection. Sell extras if you need the inventory space.

Twilight Compass (Uncommon – 10 Merits)

The Twilight Compass spawns on chairs, sofas, tables and shelves (mostly indoors) but it seems to be one of the most elusive Ship Models so far (alongside the golden Leviathan’s Crown). The Hotel on Riven Tides is one of the common farm spots if you can get there early, otherwise looking in various Residential Areas on other maps can be another safe bet. If you’re not having good luck with cupboards and dining tables inside, keep an eye on various furniture scattered within small raider camps (next to multiple Riven Tides spawn points) as sometimes ships can appear on the surface of those. If you’re still looking for Twilight Compass and already have enough Blue and Purple ships in the stash, a good farming strategy is to skip opening any containers and just run through the Hotel looking for loose loot – that’s how Twilight Compass usually appears.

You need 5 Twilight Compass Ship Models for Avian Alarm Stage 2 (Preliminary Signal Birds), alongside 7x Tick Pods, 20 Canisters, and 12x Moss. Pretty easy to find if you comb through the Hotel methodically. Stage 2 rewards you with the Heavy Gun Parts Blueprint, 3x Surge Coils, and 25 Raider Tokens.

Velocity (Rare – 25 Merits – Need 5)

The Velocity shows up both on furniture and inside residential containers like suitcases and trash cans. While being of Rare (Blue) quality, they seem to spawn more commonly as loose loot compared to Uncommon (Green) Ship Models. We had pretty good success finding these models on top of chairs and desks in the Riven Tides Hotel as well as on Shelves and other furniture within Blue Gate Village and Buried City residential buildings. So far these have been easier to find than Twilight Compass, but if you are really struggling – check out MetaForge Marketplace where you can trade some of your other items or seeds for it!

You need 5 Velocity Ship Models for Avian Alarm Stage 3 (Secondary Validation Birds), alongside 3x Comet Igniters, 10x Fertilizer, and 8x Rusted Tools. You’ll probably grab enough of these across a couple of runs without even trying. Stage 3 rewards you with an Anvil IV, Anvil Splitter mod, and 50 Raider Tokens.

Sirena Dorata (Epic – 50 Merits – Need 5)

The Sirena Dorata pops out of shipping containers, suitcases, and trash bins, and sometimes sits on control panels out in the Stacking Yard. It can also sometimes be found in Residential Containers (Wooden Drawers, Desk Drawers, etc.) during special map conditions (Buried City Night Raid for example). Unlike the grey and green ships, this Epic quality trinket is more often found inside various containers rather than sitting on top of things and spawning as loose loot.

You need 5 Sirena Dorata Ship Models for Avian Alarm Stage 4 (Heightened Alert Birds), alongside 1x Vaporizer Regulator, 3x Water Filters, and 8x Agave. Beachcombing helps a lot here. Stage 4 rewards you with Gel Patches cosmetic, Hotel Keycard No. 311, and 50 Raider Tokens.

Leviathan’s Crown (Legendary – 250 Merits – Need 1)

The rarest Ship Model in the game. The Leviathan’s Crown is needed for Avian Alarm Stage 5 (Critical Warning Birds), and you only need 1 – which tells you everything about the drop rate. Your best bet for finding one is Beachcombing with a Dockmaster’s Detector. These drop specifically from Blue Suitcases you dig up from the Dig Spots after locating them on the Riven Tides beach. If you’re getting a good amount of suitcases but no good loot inside them, extract and restart to try and ensure better loot rolls on a different run topside. When you finally get it, Safe Pocket it and extract.

To complete the final stage of the Avian Alarm Project, you’ll also need 2x Turbine Compressors, 3x Red Coral Jewelry, and 4x Roots for that stage. Stage 5 rewards you with the Bird House backpack attachment, Fist In Air emote, Acoustic Guitar, and 100 Raider Tokens.

You can preview every Avian Alarm stage’s requirements ahead of time, so start stockpiling Ship Models before you actually need them. Every Twilight Compass or Velocity you extract with – toss it in your stash instead of selling it. When Stage 4 unlocks and you need 5 Sirena Doratas, you’ll be glad you had a head start.

Best Place to Find Ship Models in ARC Raiders – Riven Tides

Riven Tides has the highest concentration of Ship Model spawns by far. They show up in two ways on this map – as loose items sitting on furniture (chairs, tables, shelves, windowsills, control panels) and inside residential containers (suitcases, dumpsters, trash bags). They don’t glow and they don’t make a sound, so you have to actually look at surfaces as you pass through rooms. Sprint through and you’ll miss them completely.

Hotel Panorama Azzurro

The Hotel on the western coast of Riven Tides is the single best building for Ship Models across all rarities. Common and Uncommon models show up consistently on every run, and Rare ones pop up here too. Start with the ground floor reception area – the sofas and chairs in the northeast section of the hallways are reliable spawners. Then work your way through the bar area directly outside the hotel (models sit openly on tables and countertops), and the third floor restaurant where every table surface is worth checking. Check the Riven Tides Interactive Map to see all confirmed Ship Model spawn pins around the Hotel and the rest of the map.

Stacking Yard and Other Riven Tides Spots

Outside the Hotel, the Stacking Yard is another spot worth hitting – Sirena Dorata models have turned up on control panels here as well as atop the cranes in the crane-operator booths, which is a little unusual since most models stick to residential furniture.

It is also worth looking around as you spawn on Riven Tides – some spawns are next to small makeshift “Raider Camps” that contain furniture (dining carts, small tables, chairs) with lower-rarity Ship Models often spawning on top of them.

How to Find Ship Models with Beachcombing in ARC Raiders

Beachcombing is a minor map condition exclusive to Riven Tides, and it’s your best shot at finding the higher-rarity Ship Models. When it’s active, you can equip the Dockmaster’s Detector and sweep the sand on the beach north of the Port Authority Building to dig up buried containers. These containers have a noticeably better chance of dropping Sirena Dorata and Leviathan’s Crown compared to just looting furniture around the map.

You get your first Dockmaster’s Detector from completing Avian Alarm Stage 1 (the bird trap objective at Seabed). The Detector wears down over time – similar to a Snaphook – but you can find more as world spawns during your raid. Check the Event Timers to know when Beachcombing is active so you don’t waste a run hoping for it.

One thing to know – not every buried container on the beach drops Ship Models. Only the suitcases can contain them. The activity is highly RNG and you will encounter Ticks, Fruit and event Landmines in these Dig Spots. Don’t roll away from Landmines – immediately disarm them without moving and don’t despair – eventually you’ll find the suitcase containing that golden Ship Model! If you’ve checked a few suitcase and all that spawns in them are some Bandages and a Crash Mat, extract and try again before Beachcombing event is over – you might just loaded into a very “unlucky” round with bad loot across the board.

Finding Ship Models in ARC Raiders on Other Maps

Ship Models aren’t locked to Riven Tides – they drop on other maps too, just at slightly lower rates. With half the player base cramming into the Hotel right now, other maps can be a better pick if you want to actually loot in peace. You’ll mostly find Common, Uncommon and Rare models on these maps, but those still count toward Avian Alarm and Last Resort Merits.

Buried City

The apartment blocks in Buried City are a solid alternative. Check suitcases, lockers, and residential containers inside the apartments for container drops. Keep an eye on puffy chairs, sofas and tables you would normally run past – now these are the most common Ship Model spawn points.

The Library is also worth a visit – Ship Models can spawn as loose loot sitting on desks, not just inside containers. If you’re already running Buried City for blueprints or quests, take the extra time to check these spots.

Blue Gate

The village area in Blue Gate has residential buildings with Ship Model spawns. The drop rate won’t match Riven Tides, but it’s way less contested. The shelves on the bottom floors of Village residential houses are a common spawn point for these ships. If you keep getting into PvP at the Hotel and losing your finds, Blue Gate is a nice change of pace.

Save your dedicated Riven Tides runs for when Beachcombing is active and you’ve got a Dockmaster’s Detector ready to go. For everything else – especially Common and Uncommon models – other maps work just fine and you won’t have to fight for every suitcase.

Tips for Farming Ship Models in ARC Raiders

1. Hit the Hotel Before the Beach

When you drop into Riven Tides, if you spawned on the right side of the map, sprint towards the Hotel. There are so many loose loot spawn points for Ship Model and you will benefit from swinging by there early in the round. Save Beachcombing for later in the round – it’s a slow activity so even if someone else is doing it, there will still be Dig Spots left after you’ve looted the Hotel.

2. Safe Pocket High-Rarity Models Immediately

The moment you pick up a Sirena Dorata or Leviathan’s Crown, Safe Pocket it. Don’t keep looting, don’t push one more room, don’t get greedy. Dying with a Legendary in your regular inventory means starting the hunt all over again. Secure it and get out.

3. Start Hoarding Ship Models Early

Since you can preview every Avian Alarm stage, start stockpiling models before you actually need them. Every Twilight Compass or Velocity you extract with – toss it in your stash. When Stage 4 unlocks and you need 5 Sirena Doratas, you’ll be glad you didn’t sell all the lower-rarity ones and had a head start on the project.
