How to Find Snaphook Blueprint in ARC Raiders
To find the Snaphook Blueprint in ARC Raiders, you need to wait for an Electromagnetic Storm Event to trigger on the map. This specific blueprint is tied to the storm’s unique loot table and will not drop during normal weather conditions. While it can technically appear in any container while the storm is active, the most reliable way to find it is by farming Residential Containers (like kitchen drawers, fridges and suitcases) in the apartment zones on Dam Battlegrounds.

Why You Need the Snaphook Blueprint in ARC Raiders
The Snaphook is an essential utility item that significantly changes your mobility options topside. It functions as a grappling hook, primarily used to quickly reach loot containers and areas positioned on high rooftops that are difficult to access on foot. For more experienced Raiders, the Snaphook is also used to grapple onto the top of the largest ARC machines, like the Queen and Matriarch, to gain a tactical advantage during a fight. Additionally, it is a key tool for advanced movement in PvP encounters and high-level PvE trials where maintaining verticality and speed is critical to survival.

Snaphook BP is an Electromagnetic Storm Exclusive
The single most reliable way to get a Snaphook Blueprint is to hunt during an active Electromagnetic Storm. During this event, the map is engulfed in blue electrical static, and ARC activity becomes significantly more aggressive. However, the loot tables for every container on the map are modified to include the Snaphook.

- Event Timing: Use the MetaForge Event Timers to check when an Electromagnetic Storm is scheduled. These are Major Map Conditions that typically last for 60 minutes
- The Map: While storms happen on all maps, Dam Battlegrounds is the preferred choice for the Snaphook. The high density of residential buildings near the map edges allows for quick “looting laps” while avoiding the heavier ARC patrols in the center.
- Mandatory Event: The blueprint does not currently drop outside of the Electromagnetic Storm condition, so this 2X Major Map Event is mandatory if you want a chance of finding this rare blueprint.
Best Containers to Target for Snaphook Blueprint in ARC Raiders
While the Snaphook Blueprint can theoretically drop from any container during a storm, targeting residential areas is a matter of simple probability. Locations like Ruby Residences and Pale Apartments contain a very high concentration of lootable furniture in one spot. By checking dozens of wardrobes, nightstands, and cupboards in a single building, you maximize your chances of rolling a “lucky spawn” – an additional item added to the container’s normal loot pool – which has a chance of being the Snaphook BP.

Target these specific high-density zones:
- Ruby Residence & Pale Apartments (Dam Battlegrounds): These are the premier farming spots. They pack dozens of residential containers into a small footprint, giving you the highest number of rolls for the blueprint in the shortest amount of time.

- Pattern House (Dam Battlegrounds): While Ruby and Pale are technically better spawns, Pattern House is a strong alternative. If you spawn next to Pattern House, it is better to loot the entire building and the surrounding trash bins immediately rather than running across the map to Ruby Residences and hoping it hasn’t already been looted.

- Blue Gate Village (Blue Gate): If you are having a bad streak of luck on Dam Battlegrounds, try spawning next to the Village on the Blue Gate map. It has a very high number of residential containers clustered in one place, making it an excellent backup location.

Extra Tips for Farming Snaphook Blueprint in ARC Raiders
1. The “Naked Run” strategy: One of the most efficient ways to farm during a storm is loading into the raid without any items or an augment—completely “naked.” Even with zero gear, you still get one Safe Pocket. This allows you to loot apartments quickly, hide a Snaphook BP in your pocket, and immediately surrender to start the next run. If you don’t spawn next to one of our recommended loot areas, you can surrender instantly without losing any gear to try for a better spawn. While you can use a “Free Loadout” for this, it doesn’t come with a Safe Pocket, and the weapon isn’t necessary for this peaceful target-farming strategy on the map edges.

2. Manage Your Safe Pocket: If you find something valuable in one of the apartments, put it in your Safe Pocket, but don’t stop looting. You might find a Snaphook BP later in the raid and decide to swap it into your pocket. It is entirely possible to find multiple blueprints in a single session. For example, I’ve found one Snaphook Blueprint in Ruby Residence and another immediately after in the Pale Apartments. In that specific run, only one of the two Pale Apartment buildings had been looted, meaning a clueless Raider had passed through and missed a guaranteed blueprint!
