In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Search ARC Probes, Couriers and Assessors to maximize your score and etch your place in the Speranza hotshots.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from searching ARC Probes, Couriers and Assessors. Each objective searched earns 286 score.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many ARC Probes, Couriers and Assessors as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a ton of stamina regeneration and maybe a gun to defend yourself with. We recommend bringing:
- Any gun + Ammo you feel like bringing as a back-up plan
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield (or
Light Shield for slightly faster movement) - 5
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages - As many stacks of
Adrenaline Shots as possible - Some Smoke Grenades or a
Photoelectric Cloak to deter ARC
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Search ARC Probes Couriers and Assessors weekly Trial?
Yes, you can use a Free Loadout to get 3,000 score for your weekly 3-star rewards in this Trial. However, to get maximum score, it is advised to use an actual loadout to bring as many adrenaline shots as possible.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
The best map to push for an effective score is Spaceport. You can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. However, we highly recommend attempting the Trial during Electromagnetic Storm. Electromagnetic Storm provides more ARC probe spawns on the map. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
The BEST Route for Maximizing Score
The best way to gain score for this trial is to figure out a route for yourself and/or your party and begin rotating through the map, collecting any score you can.
As shown above, Spaceport has a very high amount of potential ARC Probe and Courier spawns. We advise against running the Close Scrutiny events for the Assessors. It is far too much effort and risk for such little return. As a result, we recommend Electromagnetic Storm on Spaceport to maximize ARC Probe spawns and score gain.
You don’t have to be the player to freshly “Breach” a Probe or Courier. If you come across any that have been searched, make sure to search them yourself. You’ll still get your 286 score!
Solo Lobby
While you can start almost anywhere for this Trial, here is an example route above. If you follow the green route and pick up any Probe or Courier in the area, as a solo you’ll earn more than enough for your 3-star reward. You’ll need roughly around 11 Probes or Couriers for 3,000 score. As a result, finding a few clusters of Probes and the odd Courier here and there is already more than enough to complete the objective. However, pushing for higher score means you’ll have to fully sprint through the above example route with Adrenaline shots. We estimate an average solo score of 14,000-18,000 on a decent run.
Squad Lobby
In a party, you’re better off splitting the map into three sections that each player is responsible for.
Splitting your party into these thirds makes your Trial attempt very rewarding. With all three players utilizing Adrenaline shots, you’ll easily clear each area of the map before the raid timer requires you to extract. Depending on spawns, you’ll easily triple your score or more as a party compared to a solo run. Any of the overlapping areas can be communicated between the group and distributed.
