How to Find Cat Beds and Very Comfortable Pillow in ARC Raiders

Your best chance to get a Very Comfortable Pillow in Arc Raiders is to go straight to the Red Tower in Buried City! The white plastic containers consistently spawn Pillows and Cat Beds and you are guaranteed to find at least one on your every raid topside! Other great locations include the Testing Annex on Dam Battlegrounds and other Residential and Commercial areas, like Pale Apartments.

Very Comfortable Pillow in ARC Raiders – Important for Scrappy Upgrades!

If you’ve recently started playing ARC Raiders, you know that Scrappy isn’t just a cute mascot – he’s an economic engine. Upgrading your rooster companion is crucial for passive resource generation, but hitting Level 4 and Level 5 requires finding two specific elusive items: Cat Beds and Very Comfortable Pillows.

Unlike common loot, these items don’t just spawn anywhere. They are specific to “Residential” and “Commercial” loot pools, and players often spend days searching the wrong cabinets. In this guide, we’ve compiled the absolute best farming locations to help you max out Scrappy fast.

Where to Find Very Comfortable Pillow in Arc Raiders

For Scrappy’s max level (Level 5 upgrade), you need 3 Very Comfortable Pillows.

Best Location: Buried City (Red Tower)

The community has flagged the Red Tower in Buried City as the number one spot for these. Specifically, check:

• White Plastic Containers: Search the white plastic shelves on the ledge just outside the Red Tower.
• Red Lockers: Red Lockers inside the Red Tower building can also spawn these.

Buried City Hospital

Hospital is another possible location to check if you spawned nowhere near the Red Tower. Head to the Red Lockers on the ground floor of the Hospital and sometimes you can find Very Comfortable Pillows and even Light Bulbs in them. These do not guarantee a Pillow spawn, like the Red Tower containers seem to do.

Dam Battlegrounds: Testing Annex

If you are running Dam Battlegrounds and spawned on the East half of the map, skip the apartments and head to the Testing Annex. The red lockers are a confirmed spawn point for both Cat Beds and Very Comfortable Pillow in Arc Raiders.

Where to Find Cat Beds (For Scrappy Level 4)

To upgrade Scrappy to Level 4, you need 1 Cat Bed (along with Olives and Prickly Pears). While you only need one, it can be deceptively hard to find.

Best Location: Blue Gate (Northwest Village)

The most consistent spawn for Cat Beds is the Village area in the northwest corner of the Blue Gate map. This is a dense residential zone. You want to search:

• Shelves: Cat beds often spawn openly on shelves in living rooms.
• Rusty Crates: Don’t ignore the crates outside the houses; they have a surprisingly high drop rate for pet items.

Secondary Location: Buried City (Grandioso Apartments)

If you prefer the Buried City, head straight to the Grandioso Apartments in the southwest. Loot the bedrooms and check the tops of dressers. Another confirmed hotspot is the Pharmacy near the center of town – players often find them on the store shelves there. But as mentioned before, Red Tower in Buried City seems to guarantee a Cat Bed spawn along with Very Comfortable Pillows, so that’s still your best spot to check early!

Safe Pocket is Every Raiders’ Best Friend

The second you find a Cat Bed or a Pillow in Arc Raiders, put it in your Safe Pocket immediately. Even if you die, you keep the item, and it counts toward the upgrade. Do not risk extracting with these in your main backpack.
