Where to Find Lightbulbs in ARC Raiders

The Lightbulb in ARC Raiders is a rare electrical component needed for Part 3 of 6 – Framework in the Expedition Project. You’ll need 5 Lightbulbs to help build the Caravan’s walls, roof, and core systems. While Lightbulbs can drop in general Electrical Loot Zones, the best way to farm them is by using a couple of guaranteed spawn locations in Dam Battlegrounds and Blue Gate.

Why You Need Lightbulbs

For Framework (3/6) in the Expedition Project, you’ll need:

• 5 × Light bulb
• 30 × Battery
• 20 × Sensors
• 1 × Exodus Module

Because Lightbulbs are classified as electrical items and are quite rare in standard loot pools, relying only on random Electrical Zones (like Power Generation Complex) can be slow. Using guaranteed spawns makes this part of the Expedition far more efficient.

Dam Battlegrounds Lightbulb Location

Step 1: Load into Dam Battlegrounds

Equip either your preferred loadout or a free loadout and load into the Dam Battlegrounds map. Lightbulbs here are tied to a couple of fixed spots, so you don’t need to rely on RNG as much.

Step 2: Loot the Field Depot Drawer

From the north side of the map, move between Power Generation Complex and East Broken Bridge. In this area, you’ll find a Field Depot building.

Head inside and look for a computer desk with a lootable drawer in the corner. Opening this drawer gives you a guaranteed Lightbulb (assuming no one else has looted it first).

Step 3: Breach the Car Hood at Generator Hall

Next, travel toward the Generator Hall extraction point. Close to the extraction zone, beside a bus, you’ll see a car with a breachable hood.

Breach the hood, and you’ll usually find 1–2 guaranteed Lightbulbs inside. Combined with the Field Depot drawer, this run alone can yield 2–3 Lightbulbs in a single visit.

Step 4: Extract Safely

Once you’ve looted both the Field Depot drawer and the car hood, use the Generator Hall extraction point right next to you.

This makes the Dam Battlegrounds route one of the fastest ways to stock up on Lightbulbs in just a few quick runs.

Blue Gate Lightbulb Location

If Dam Battlegrounds is highly contested or already looted, Blue Gate offers a strong backup method with more consistent safety.

Step 1: Load into Blue Gate

Equip a basic loadout (or free loadout) and enter the Blue Gate map. This area has fewer players contesting the specific Lightbulb spawn, making it ideal for repeated solo runs.

Step 2: Head to Pilgrim’s Peak

Once in Blue Gate, move to the north-east side of the map and make your way to Pilgrim’s Peak.

Step 3: Climb, Drop In, and Loot the Red Locker

Use the grapple to climb toward the top of Pilgrim’s Peak.

Just before you reach the summit, jump off into the room below rather than going all the way to the top.

Inside this room, you’ll find two red lockers. One of these lockers contains a guaranteed Lightbulb. This spot is especially good because it’s less obvious and sees less competition than Dam Battlegrounds’ guaranteed spawns.

Step 4: Extract and Repeat

Once you’ve looted the locker, head to the nearest extraction point and extract safely.
