Where to Find Mushrooms in ARC Raiders

The Mushroom is a Nature resource in ARC Raiders and is required for both Scrappy upgrades and late-game progression projects. The fastest and most reliable way to farm Mushrooms is by using a guaranteed spawn on the Spaceport map, allowing you to collect them quickly with minimal risk.

Why You Need Mushrooms

Mushrooms are required for multiple progression systems, including:

• 12 Mushrooms to upgrade Scrappy from Level 4 to Level 5 in the Hideout
• 7 Mushrooms for Phase 5 of the Flickering Flames Project

Because of the total amount required, relying purely on random Nature spawns can be slow. Using a guaranteed location dramatically speeds this up.

Here is a complete list of all needed items that you will need to complete all projects and upgrades.

Step 1: Prepare the Right Loadout

Before loading into the map, create an empty custom loadout with no gear equipped.

A complete empty custom loadout gives you one Safe Pocket, where as the free loadout does not. This ensures that even if another Raider kills you, your Mushrooms remain secured and are not lost and you will lose zero items.

Step 2: Load Into Spaceport

Once ready, Queue into the Spaceport map. If possible, try to join while the Hidden Bunker event is active, as this usually pulls players away from the mushroom location and they are usually there purely for the event.

Step 3: Travel to the Guaranteed Mushroom Location

Once you spawn, head to the north-east side of Spaceport, just beside the Trench Hatch (East).

Next to the hatch is a small trench area. This is the exact spot where the guaranteed Mushrooms spawn. Be alert when approaching, as other Raiders may also be farming this route.

Step 4: Loot the Mushroom Tree

Drop down into the trench and you’ll find a tree that spawns three guaranteed Mushrooms every run.

Pick up all three Mushrooms and immediately place them into your Safe Pocket. This ensures they stay with you even if you are eliminated.

Step 5: Surrender to Save Time

Instead of running to an extraction point, open the menu and select Surrender.

This instantly returns you to the lobby with your Mushrooms still secured, making this method significantly faster than extracting manually.

Step 6: Repeat Until Finished

Reload into Spaceport and repeat the same steps. If you are like myself who always get spawns far away, keep in your safe pocket 1 or 2 adrenline shots and use these to get there before other raiders.

Each run gives 3 guaranteed Mushrooms, allowing you to quickly reach the 12 needed for Scrappy and the 7 required for the Flickering Flames Project.
