Where to Find Rusted Bolts in ARC Raiders
Rusted Bolts are a required crafting component for Stage 1 of the Trophy Display Project – Roaming Threats in ARC Raiders. You’ll only need three Rusted Bolts, but because they don’t spawn everywhere, having a reliable route is crucial. The fastest and easiest place to farm them consistently is around the Assembly Workshops and Loading Bay areas on the Stella Montis map.
This guide walks through a simple and repeatable path so you can finish the Rusted Bolts requirement quickly and get on with the rest of the project.
Why You Need Rusted Bolts
Rusted Bolts are one of several materials needed to complete Stage 1 – Roaming Threats of the Trophy Display Project:
- 3× Rusted Bolts → Reward: 10 Mod Components
- 15× Pop Triggers → Reward: 3 Power Rods
- 15× Tick Pods → Reward: 10 Raider Tokens
- 5× Surveyor Vaults → Reward: Light Gun Parts Blueprint
Since Surveyor Vaults are also required but can be tricky to find, you can reference our dedicated guide on that here: Where to Find Surveyor Vaults.

Best Location: Stella Montis Assembly Workshops & Loading Bay
The Stella Montis map is the best place to farm Rusted Bolts because it has both high-density industrial containers and a route that’s easy to clear quickly. You’ll be hitting two specific container types:
- Yellow industrial cabinets in the Assembly Workshops
- Drawers in Blue Containers in the Loading Bay / Cargo Dock
Use the Stella Montis interactive map to plan your route before loading in.

Step 1: Prepare Your Loadout
Before you begin your run, equip either:
- A custom loadout with a Safe Pocket, OR
- A free loadout, with the risk of NO Safe Pocket.
If you have a safe pocket this ensures that once you find Rusted Bolts, they are secured immediately, even if your Raider gets taken out before extraction.
If possible, try to join NA servers and play passively for a few rounds first. ARC Raiders’ behavior-based matchmaking often places non-aggressive players into friendlier lobbies, which makes material farming much more relaxed and safer.

Step 2: Start at the Assembly Workshops
Once you load into Stella Montis, make your way to the Assembly Workshops area.
Here’s what you’re looking for:
- Yellow industrial cabinets — these are the primary container type that can spawn Rusted Bolts
- Ignore random side loot — focus entirely on these cabinets first
Methodically clear each yellow industrial cabinet. Some may be empty, but across multiple cabinets this area has one of the highest chances for Rusted Bolts.

Step 3: Continue to the Loading Bay / Cargo Docks
After clearing all the yellow cabinets in the Assembly Workshops, proceed toward the Loading Bay / Cargo Dock area.

In this section, Rusted Bolts don’t typically come from large cabinets — they spawn in:
- Drawers inside the cargo containers
- Smaller built-in drawer units near the industrial equipment
Make sure to open every drawer you see in this area. These are easy to overlook but are the main spawn spots for Rusted Bolts in this part of the route.
Most players will collect the remaining Rusted Bolts they need in just one run through these two areas.

Step 4: Secure, Extract, and Repeat if Needed
As soon as you find Rusted Bolts, place them into your Safe Pocket. Once you’ve cleared both the Assembly Workshops and the Loading Bay area, head toward the Metro extraction point near the end of the route.
This Extraction point is conveniently close, so you can get out quickly and repeat if necessary.
In most cases, two to three runs along this route are enough to collect all three required Rusted Bolts — even during busy lobbies.

Extra Tips for Faster Farming
- If cabinets or drawers have already been looted, keep moving — this route has enough containers that you’ll still find fresh ones on your next run.
- If you’re consistently missing Rusted Bolts, consider trading extra components on the Metaforge Marketplace.
