Bronze was once a secret held by the ancient dwarves. It is a more robust metal forged from an alliance of two others.
This union of metals was often used as a symbol of cooperation. Alliances would store the signed documents in bronze scroll cases or sign them with a pen made of tin and another of copper.
On Ashenfall, it was used to show that the old ways could stand beside the new. For a while, in the third age, druids wore pins of copper, and the Saradominist priests wore tin pins. T
