Boss. Aggressive. Colossal.
Lore
Once, Imaru was a gentle creature. She and her mate, the black dragon Xikotal, would dance through the air together, lost in their love. Although the dragon’s rage still burned inside her, the cooling power of the water she was infused with, calmed her and brought the reason and clarity that she enjoyed.
Dragonkin experiments had robbed her of the one thing she craved, to be a mother. So when the humans came to the region, she convinced Xikotal that they should take them under their wing, becoming protectors and, perhaps, even parents to the fragile things.
Together they built a society with peace and cooperation at its core. The villagers thrived, and Imaru and her mate thrived with them. She used the magic within her to bless her new pets, making sure that she could protect them wherever they were.
How cruel a thing is fate? Once protector, Imaru became the threat. After being slain by Kuldra, Imaru became a blighted thing. She refused to pass into the afterlife and wedged herself within the river of souls, feasting on the dead of Fellhollow in search of power. Once the guardian of her beloved adopted children, Imaru was lost to everything but the rage and the grief. She would have torn apart the world for one more shot at Kuldra.
Fortunately, that won’t be an option.
