These zombies were once the most faithful followers of Imaru, her chosen servants. Each of them was branded with a special mark that would allow her to gift them a small semblance of her power. As humans they were healthier, lived longer and they thrived under her care.
Yet when Imaru’s hunger spread from the underworld, it was these unfortunates that fell first to this terrible affliction. Now they act as extensions to her hunger, sharing the rot with any unfortunate enough to cross their path.
