Obsidian Device is a material, dropped by KotHaar-Hur or KotHaar-Kal. An obsidian object, useful as little more than a paperweight. Can be ground and then smelted into pure obsidian.
Lore
After being beaten to a pulp by a KotHaar, you might find it difficult to believe that they are a cultured race. Or, more specifically, they WERE a cultured race, and that culture has eroded away to almost nothing over the centuries. There are records of KotHaar libraries, with books written on stone. It is hard to believe, but at least one play has been performed by the KotHaar, although no KotHaar can remember to what it pertained.
While the life of the modern KotHaar doesn't leave room for culture and entertainment, it is common to find them fiddling with the remnants of it. They fidget with old stone pamphlets, fragments of toys, and materials that were used in KotHaar sports. These obsidian devices mean little to the KotHaar, but they get a semblance of reassurance from tinkering with them.
