Raw magical essence, extremely useful in magical recipes and equipment. Refined by herblore masters from Anima-Infused Bark.

Magic is made up of motes of anima, refined and collected into specific forms. Rune essence can be made to hold these motes, creating dedicated magical components for spells and enchantments. Wild anima is useful for magical construction, but cannot be converted into true spellcraft, as the motes and unaligned and prone to strange reactions.
