It likely comes as no surprise to you that both of the centaur clans are hesitant to accept aid from anyone outside of their clan. This is especially true for folks like you and me - you know, non-centaurs. One thing we all have in common is an understanding that money is power, and we have learned that the local centaur barter with carved wood. If you bring me a few samples of their designs, I can put in a rush order for similar etchings. Perhaps we can buy ourselves an advantage.

I have noticed that centaur from different clans sometimes gather away from settlements and engage in trade. I have observed this across numerous nights and seemingly with every clan; most importantly I have seen the currency they use: carved totems. I believe we can turn the tides in our favor with either the Gelkis or the Magram if we deliver a heavy bundle of totems right to them. I have already begun carving some, but I doubt they will be easily fooled without a few authentic ones.
