While everyone was excited to finally see the Arc Raiders Pre-Order announcement, Embark has also dropped some unexpected news – they will be hosting a three-day Server Slam Open Test from October 17th to 19th! This is a massive Arc Raiders Open Beta test designed to push the servers to their limits one last time before the game’s full launch on October 30th. It’s your last chance to get hands-on, and everyone is invited. Here’s everything you need to know!

How to Join the ARC Raiders Open Beta Server Slam

Getting in is simple: everyone is invited. There are no codes and no special requirements this time around. This is a true open test, available on all launch platforms.

  • Platforms: PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Dates: Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th.
  • Access: Just download the game on your platform of choice and jump in when the event begins. Access will roll out slowly on the first day to manage the initial load.

What’s in the Arc Raiders Open Beta Test?

This isn’t the full game, but rather a focused slice of the action to give players a taste of the core experience. The Server Slam will drop you into the Dam Battlegrounds, where you’ll get to scavenge for loot, experience the crafting and progression systems, and complete a series of quests. It’s the perfect opportunity to see how the game feels, test your squad against other Raiders, and get used to fighting the ARC enemies – the AI in this game is no joke!

Do You Keep Your Progress? (And What Do You Get?)

This is the big question for any pre-launch test. The answer is straightforward: your progress from the Server Slam will NOT carry over to the final game. The test is on a separate build, and all characters will be wiped before the full launch on October 30th.

However, you won’t walk away empty-handed. As a thank you for participating and helping stress the servers, every player who joins the Server Slam will receive a Server Slam Exclusive in-game backpack. This cosmetic item will be delivered to your account after you purchase the full game at launch, letting you show off that you were there from the beginning.

Key Details to Know Before You Drop In

  • Embark ID is Required: A free Embark ID will be created for you when you first launch the game. You’ll be prompted to confirm your email address—while not required to play, you must confirm your email to be eligible for the exclusive backpack reward. You can get a head start by creating or linking your account at the Embark Portal.
  • Age Requirement: You must be 16 or older to participate.
  • Streaming & Sharing: Absolutely! The developers encourage everyone to stream, record, and share their gameplay from the Server Slam.
