Damage ARC using Medium Ammo: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To Damage ARC using Medium Ammo effectively:
- Load into any map
- Bring a couple of Medium Ammo weapons of your choice (we recommend the
Renegade) - Bring a several hundred Medium Ammo minimum for 3,000 score. Around 400+, double that and 1-2 more Renegades if you wish to push higher for score
- Your score is gained based on your damage per shot to the ARC – at around 1.2 score per 1 damage
- A single Renegade shot on a Spotter (or an ARC without any armor) is around 50-60~ score
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Damage ARC using Medium Ammo.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires dealing as much damage to ARC using Medium Ammo as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, Medium Ammo weapons and a ton of Medium Ammo. We recommend bringing:
- Renegade IV (2-3 if you want to push for more score and will break at least 1 Renegade)
Survivor MK.3 Augment - At least 400+
Medium Ammo or more - Medium Shield (recommended to survive accidents with a Bastion or Bombardier)
- 5+
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages 
Adrenaline shots to move from A to B smoothly
Which map is best for this trial?
There is no best map to recommend for this Trial. However, we recommend trying Riven Tides as there’s always plenty of ARC spawns no matter where you look, including easy to find Bastions and Bombardiers. You can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
We recommend moving between the Hotel Complex, Port Authority & Wreckage area and the South extract area (a Bombardier can spawn here).
How to get the best score for this trial
The scoring for this Trial only comes from dealing damage with Medium Ammo on any ARC. As a result, we’ll want to find decent targets to fire at.
- First, you’ll want to rotate between dense areas like the Hotel Complex, Port Authority Building & Wreckage area, and the south Extract
- Damage any flying ARC you come across, Hornets and Fireflies are easy to damage if you shoot their center repeatedly, you’ll easily push 300+ score on each one
- If you find a Bombardier, you can shoot, damage and destroy both Spotters, then shoot the joints of the Bombardier until the Spotters respawn. This is a great way to get some comfortable and easy score
- Small ground ARC don’t really provide any reasonable score to hunt them, as a result, destroy them if you have to, but avoid areas that mostly have those types of ARC. Shredders, however, are worth shooting
Utilizing this method, gives you a guaranteed way to get 3,000 or more score in your raid.
Snitch Scanners
The 
Snitch Scanner is an important additional part of getting maximum score from this Trial. You can farm Snitch Scanners by coming into any map with a basic loadout (and at least 1 safe pocket). Simply shoot down any Snitch you come across and loot the Scanner from them. You can stack 3 Scanners in one slot, meaning you can guarantee up to 9 Scanners per farm run (more if you get extract safely).
Each Snitch Scanner thrown spawns 2 Wasps into the map, netting some easy additional score for yourself.
Immediately after shooting the Spotters down, you can target the Bombardier joints in its legs. Shooting the Spotters is great for quick score because they have no armor, allowing you to deal full damage each shot. You’ll get around 60~ score per shot on a Spotter.
If you aggro Fireflies or Hornets from afar, you can easily bait them in a way that lets you shoot them for free and dead-center from the windows of the hut.
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Damage ARC Using Medium Ammo Weekly Trial?
No, you cannot realistically complete this trial with a Free Loadout. You need at least hundreds of Medium Ammo, supplies and strong Medium Ammo weapons. As a result, Free Loadouts are not realistic for this Trial.
