Groundbreaking ARC Raiders Quest Guide
To complete Groundbreaking in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to visit The Blue Gate and enter a locked room at Pilgrim’s Peak using a provided key. After searching the room for construction research (whiteboard), you must head south to the Abandoned Housing Project and photograph a specific building.
The “Groundbreaking” quest in ARC Raiders sends you to the dangerous northern reaches of Blue Gate. It requires a specific key that Apollo gives you, so if you lose it, you might be in trouble. Here is a quick, step-by-step guide to finding the locked room and completing the quest fast.

- Find the building pictured on the whiteboard

Step 1: Enter the Locked Room at Pilgrim’s Peak
Before you deploy, ensure the Blue Gate Communication Tower Key is in your Safe Pocket. If you die with it in your backpack, you will lose it.
- Location: Head to Pilgrim’s Peak, the large facility at the very top (North) of the Blue Gate map.
- The Room: Enter the main building and look for a locked door on the eastern side of the facility.
- Action: Use your key to open the door. (Tip: Sometimes this door is already unlocked by another player. If so, just walk in!)
Step 2: Find the Construction Research
Once inside the locked room, check the back corner.
- Look for a Whiteboard on the wall with a drawing of a building.
- Action: Interact with the whiteboard to “search for construction research.” This will update your objective.
Step 3: Photograph the Abandoned Housing Project
The drawing on the whiteboard points you to a location further south.
- Location: Head Southwest to the Abandoned Housing Project POI.
- Target: Locate the specific building pictured on the whiteboard. It is typically the one just south of the map text for the POI.
- Action: Find a ledge overlooking the building (often marked with an interaction circle). Interact with it to take a photo.
Step 4: Extract from Groundbreaking ARC Raiders quest (Optional)
Once the photo is taken, the quest is complete! You can extract to save any loot you found in the locked room, or simply leave the raid.
