Open Containers in Port Authority Building: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To Open containers in Port Authority Building effectively:
- Load into the Riven Tides map
- Head to the Port Authority Building POI as seen on the map
- Search and open every interactable container you find on each floor and the roof and around the outside of the POI
- Opening containers gives 200 score. Opening 15 containers gives you the 3-star rewards
- Extract when you’re ready
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to open Containers in Port Authority Building.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires a 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from opening containers in the Port Authority Building on the Riven Tides map. Each container nets 200 score for you and/or your party. You’ll need to open 15 containers for the 3,000 score and get your 3-star rewards.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many containers in the Port Authority Building as possible within the raid’s time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a weapon for killing small ARC, and some good movement utility. We recommend bringing:
- Anvil IV to deal with ARC (and some Heavy Ammo)
Survivor MK.3 Augment (however, you can realistically use any for this Trial)- Light Shield or
Medium Shield - 10
Shield Rechargers - 5
Bandages - 5+
Adrenaline Shots - a
Zipline or two
Can I use a Free Loadout for the “Open Containers in Port Authority Building” weekly Trial?
Yes, you can use a 
Free Loadout to get 3,000 score for your weekly 3-star rewards in this Trial. You’ll only need to open 15 containers in the Port Authority Building area, which can be easily done without a loadout. If you’re careful, you’ll barely run into any ARC also.
Map
The only map you can attempt this Trial on is Riven Tides. You have to enter the Port Authority Building marked on the map and only loot within that building and just around the POI. Check our Event Timers in case you want to pick a specific condition that you prefer!
The BEST way to maximize score
For this Trial, there is no need for any major strategy, as the trial allows you to loot any container in the Port Authority Building in Riven Tides. It is important to remember that you can search and open an already looted container by another Raider. We recommend starting from the bottom, and making your way up through the building layers.
The red box around the building is essentially the loot zone that counts towards your score. As a result, you’ll want to check the outskirts and outside on the top wall for any containers within that zone.
Head inside the ground floor to quickly check the back for lootable crates or Raider Bag.
Head into the first floor of the building next, checking the outside balconies for additional containers.
You’ll consistently find multiple electrical cabinet containers and potentially a crate too. You can head upstairs right after these. Once you’re up, be sure to check all corners of the floor, including on top of the cages.
On the next floor, you’ll find several breach-able machinery. Also, there is a side room full of lockers to boost your score in.
After checking the floor, you can check the metal walkways and top wall before moving up to the roof. The roof barely has any containers, however, the top wall and walkways can contain a few additional containers. Once the roof is cleared, you’re done and can extract!
Locked Rooms
If you have access to a “
Riven Tides Classified Records Keycard” (or another Raider in your raid does) then you’ll be able to enter an additional area containing more containers for score. However, you only need this room if you’re planning to push for a high score. If you’re aiming just for the 3-star reward, you’ll be perfectly fine without it.
