Search Computers: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To Search Computers effectively:
- Load into the Spaceport map
- Head to key areas such as Arrival & Departure buildings and check all the smaller buildings on the map
- Bring a ton of Adrenaline Shots to keep moving
- Open every Computer you find for 160 score each
- Bring additional keys for Spaceport to unlock more potential rooms for score
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Search Computers to maximize your score and etch your place in the Speranza hotshots.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only applies to when you Search Computers on any map or condition. Score per Computer is 160. Searching 19 Computers is enough to reach the 3,000 score mark for the 3-star rewards.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many Computers as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a ton of stamina regeneration and maybe a gun to defend yourself with. We recommend bringing:
- Any gun + Ammo you feel like bringing as a back-up plan
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield
- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages - As many stacks of
Adrenaline Shots as you can for freedom of movement - Ziplines or a
Snap Hook for traversal is optional but helpful - Keys that open rooms to potential computers
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Search Computers weekly Trial?
Yes, you can use a Free Loadout to get 3,000 score for your weekly 3-star rewards in this Trial.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
The best map to push for an effective score is Spaceport. You can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
It is “rumored” that Night Raid has higher computer spawns, however, it seems to not be the case through trial and error. That being said, feel free to do whatever feels best for you!
There is a TON of potential computer spawns on Spaceport, the highest on a single map. However, spawn rates in general for this trial are pretty frustrating. As a result, this may take a couple of attempts to get the 3,000 score mark.
Solo Lobby
For solo play, as long as you have a ton of Adrenaline shots, you should be able to cross most the dense areas of potential computer spawns. The best places to rush to if you’re close to them off spawn are:
- Arrival Building
- Departure Building
- South Section of the map
Each of these three locations are the most densely-packed POIs with potential spawns for computers. It’s also important to remember you can use keys such as the Control Tower Key, Warehouse Key and both Trench Tower Keys to open more potential spawns for score.
For solo, we recommend taking a path regardless of which side you start from, that covers the Arrival Building, Departure Building & the southern side of the map. This also includes all the smaller buildings between that can house a computer spawn.
Taking this sort of “L-shaped” route as a solo, using Adrenaline Shots as much as possible should pull you through nearly 100 or so potential computer spawn locations. It’s also a nice and easy route to take and move through. Also remember to check the security towers on top of the big walls around the Spaceport as you move through.
With good luck, you’ll easily achieve 3,000+ score with this route, you’ll only need 19 computers to achieve 3,040 score.
Party Lobby
In a party, you’ll want to take a split approach to cover the entire map as fast as possible. As a result, we recommend splitting the party into these areas on the Spaceport map:
Each player covers their initial area on the map, once a player is “done” with their section, they can move on to help another one of their party members or pick up any small building computer spawn where possible. There is potential for huge score gains in a party, however, you’re still at the mercy of a good spawn run. If you have good spawns, you could easily reach 10,000+ score. Approximately, the Spaceport map has well over 150 potential computer spawns.
The desk computers if you can search them always award you with 160 score. However, we noticed at least one of the standing computer screens did not provide us with score. We still recommend trying to search them just incase, however, they might be worth ignoring.
Locked Rooms
The Locked rooms you’ll want to bring keys for to get more potential spawns for computers are:
Each of these keys give you access to more computers for potential score. These keys provide up to 16 extra spawn locations for the computers.
It is worth noting that the Hidden Bunker event also gives another 2 computer spawns. However, we believe this is very minimal, we do not recommend planning your strategy around it.
