The Weather Monitor System is a new Project in ARC Raiders, introduced with the Shrouded Sky update on February 24, 2026. Shani has tasked Raiders with collecting materials from topside to build a weather monitoring station for Speranza – because apparently nobody saw the Hurricane coming. The project works the same way as the Trophy Display: you donate specific items across five stages and earn rewards for completing each one. There’s no time limit, so you can work through it at your own pace, and your progress carries over between Expedition resets. Below is a full breakdown of every stage, what you need to collect, and what you get in return.

Main Title Screen showing the Weather Monitor System project in ARC Raiders.

Stage 1: Atmospheric Pressure

The first stage is all basic materials that you’ll come across during normal raids. Plastic Parts and Metal Parts drop everywhere and Scrappy picks them up too, so you may already have a stash of these. ARC Alloys come from destroying any ARC unit, and Oil spawns more frequently in Industrial zones.

Required Items
Plastic Parts x25
Metal Parts x15
ARC Alloy x5
Oil x3

Stage 1 Rewards:

  • 5x Durable Cloth
  • 5x Great Mullein
  • 5x Antiseptic
  • 3x Vita Shot
Stage 1 of the weather monitor system - requirements and rewards.

Weather Monitor System Stage 2: Sunlight

Stage 2 introduces some ARC-specific drops. The Snitch Scanner comes from destroying Snitches, and the Comet Igniter is a brand-new item that only drops from the new Comet ARC enemy added in the Shrouded Sky update. You’ll need to kill a Comet and loot it before it self-destructs. Wires are found more often in Electrical zones, and Sensors drop from various ARC types.

Required Items
Snitch Scanner x1
Wires x3
Sensors x3
Comet Igniter x1

Stage 2 Rewards:

  • 10x Processor
  • 5x Advanced Electrical Components
  • 3x Zipline
  • 1x Raider Hatch Key
Stage 2 of the projects - requirements and rewards.

Weather Monitor System Stage 3: Precipitation

This is where things start to get more involved. ARC Powercells drop from tougher ARC units like Rocketeers, Bastions, and Bombardiers, so you’ll need to take on some real fights. Steel Springs show up more often in Industrial zones, and the Fine Wristwatch is a rare loot item that spawns in Residential areas. The reward here is solid – a Level 3 Renegade is a strong mid-game weapon you can use right away or sell for a nice chunk of coins.

Required Items
ARC Powercell x5
Canister x5
Steel Spring x5
Fine Wristwatch x1

Stage 3 Rewards:

  • 3x Medium Gun Parts
  • 2x Complex Gun Parts
  • 3x Advanced Mechanical Components
  • 1x Renegade (Level 3)

Weather Monitor System Stage 4: Humidity

Stage 4 mixes common loot with another new ARC drop. Duct Tape and Rusted Bolts are regular loot items (Bolts drop more in Industrial zones). The Water Pump is a rarer find – the Hydrophonic Dome Complex in Dam Battlegrounds is one of the more reliable spots for it. Wasp Drivers drop from destroyed Wasps, so you’ll need to hunt down a few of those.

Required Items
Duct Tape x10
Rusted Bolts x3
Water Pump x1
Wasp Driver x3

Stage 4 Rewards:

  • 10x Explosive Compound
  • 3x Showstopper
  • 3x Trailblazer
  • 1x Extended Barrel

Weather Monitor System Stage 5: Temperature

The final stage has the toughest requirements. The Firefly Burner is a new drop from the Firefly – the armored flying ARC with a flamethrower that was also added in the Shrouded Sky update. You’ll need to take one down and loot it, which is no easy task since Fireflies hit hard and move fast. Camera Lenses and Voltage Converters are random loot items, and the Damaged Heat Sink can be found on ARC debris scattered around the maps. The final reward is a Tactical MK3 (Revival) augment, which is a very strong pickup.

Camera Lens x3
Damaged Heat Sink x1
Firefly Burner x1
Voltage Converter x3

Stage 5 Rewards:

  • 1x Medium Shield
  • 5x Surge Shield Recharger
  • 3x Sterilized Bandage
  • 1x Tactical MK3 (Revival)

Weather Monitor System Completion Rewards

Final rewards of the Weather Monitor Project in ARC Raiders.

On top of the rewards you get from each individual stage, finishing all five stages of the Weather Monitor System grants you two bonus rewards:

  • Anemometer Backpack Charm
  • 250 Raider Tokens

The 250 Raider Tokens are the real prize here – that’s a solid chunk of premium currency just for donating items you’ll mostly come across during regular raids. The Anemometer charm is a nice cosmetic bonus to show off that you’ve completed the project.

Tips for Completing the Weather Monitor System Project

1. Start Stockpiling Early: Even though you can only see Stage 1 in-game at first, you can start collecting materials for later stages right now. Store everything in your stash so you’re ready to blast through multiple stages once you unlock them.

2. Hunt the New ARCs During Hurricanes: The Comet Igniter (Stage 2) and Firefly Burner (Stage 5) only drop from the new Comet and Firefly enemies. These ARCs show up more frequently during the Hurricane map condition, so keep an eye on our Event Timers for Hurricane rotations and use those windows to farm these drops.

3. Progress Carries Over: Just like the Trophy Display, your Weather Monitor System progress survives Expedition resets. So don’t stress about rushing it – just grab materials as you come across them during your normal raids and you’ll get there.
