Tick Pods are one of the key materials required early on in ARC Raiders, particularly for completing Stage 1 – Roaming Threats of the Trophy Display Project. While Tick Pods can drop in several places, the Seed Vault on Stella Montis is by far the safest and most consistent farming location.

This method allows you to collect large numbers of Tick Pods quickly, with minimal risk and a very convenient extraction point nearby.

Why You Need Tick Pods

Tick Pods are required to complete Stage 1 – Roaming Threats of the Trophy Display Project, which includes the following objectives and rewards:

3× Rusted Bolts → Reward: 10× Mod Components
15× Pop Triggers → Reward: 3× Power Rod
15× Tick Pods → Reward: 10 Raider Tokens
5× Surveyor Vaults → Reward: Light Gun Parts Blueprint

Best Location: Seed Vault (Stella Montis)

The most reliable place to farm Tick Pods is the Seed Vault on the Stella Montis map. This location spawns a large number of Ticks clustered together, making it perfect for farming.

You can use the Stella Montis interactive map to plan your route and locate the Seed Vault quickly:

Step 1: Load In With a Safe Pocket

Load into Stella Montis using either:

A basic custom loadout with a Safe Pocket, or
A free loadout, if available

Having a Safe Pocket ensures you can secure Tick Pods even if you die. This makes the run extremely low-risk, especially for solo players.

Step 2: Power and Enter the Seed Vault

Once inside the map, head toward the Seed Vault which at the Lower Floor at the South East corner of the map.

To access it, you’ll need to locate a Fuel Cell, which usually spawns very close to the vault entrance or near the Extraction point.

Insert the Fuel Cell to open the Seed Vault and proceed inside.

Step 3: Kill Ticks and Loot Tick Pods

Inside the Seed Vault, you’ll immediately notice Ticks crawling on the walls and ceilings. These enemies are easy to deal with:

Shoot them, or
Kill them using your Raider Tool

Each Tick drops a guaranteed Tick Pod when looted. Because of the high number of Tick spawns, you can gather a large portion of the required 15 Tick Pods in a single run.

Most players will need two to three runs to finish this objective.

Step 4: Extract Safely and Repeat

One of the biggest advantages of this farming method is the Seed Vault extraction point, which is located right next to the vault and usually stays open until the end of the match.

Once you’ve secured your Tick Pods, head straight to extraction and leave. Repeat the process until you’ve collected all 15 Tick Pods required for the project.
