What Changed and Why It Matters
It's been a busy few days in Embervale. Patch #1 (v1.0.1.0) arrived on November 2 with a long list of fixes and balance tweaks. The headline changes: bosses no longer regenerate health when you fight them from range, wand animation-cancelling is gone, and PC players whose save migration failed can now try again.
Hotfix #4 (v1.0.1.1) followed on November 3 to fix a voice-over volume regression and stop loot sounds playing for everyone in multiplayer. Hotfix #5 (v1.0.1.2) landed on November 4 with crash fixes and a small but welcome change: pinned recipes now stay pinned.

Patch #1 (v1.0.1.0): Key Changes
Bosses and enemies
Bosses stay engaged longer after being hit, even when you're far away. This fixes the Fell Monstrosity regenerating health during ranged fights.
Wispwyvern and its undead version can now be targeted properly by totem spells and summons.
Dragon Youngling no longer gets stuck "defeated" without dying.
Boss music no longer cuts out mid-fight.
Ancient S.P.D.R. Constructs are harder to lure into spots where they stop moving or attacking.
The shielded Ancient Construct now has phases where its shield is on cooldown.
Fell Vinebloom's area attack deals less poison damage, and Scavenger proximity mines have a smaller blast radius.
Fell enemies that drop no loot are less common, and defeated enemies no longer need two interactions to loot.
Elite flying critters give more XP, and Fell mini critters no longer block arrows.
Vukah Brawlers no longer spawn inside cave walls.
Combat and skills
Blocking can no longer cancel wand animations to boost wand attack speed.
Aerial Wand Attack now costs 40 mana instead of stamina, and Wand Evasion Attack costs less mana.
Whirlwind Crescendo costs less stamina.
Lupa's scalper daggers now enable the riposte kick.
Sprint can be set to toggle on keyboard and mouse.
Chain Heal no longer heals enemy Hollow skeletons.
Content and progression
Two more craftable versions of lore weapons.
Food added along the path to and inside the first cave, so new players don't starve early.
Crab cakes accept any milk, big farm animal beds accept any wood, and the goo recipe unlocks when you pick up a Shroud mushroom in Revelwoods.
Azure Russula seedlings are cheaper to grow.
Quest-reward hairstyles are locked again in character creation (existing characters keep theirs).
Building and Sparkworks
Sparkworks spawners no longer spawn the wrong enemies, and Sparkworks props can't be destroyed by attacks.
Flying build mode: the pickaxe can destroy props, and taking damage cancels the mode.
You can now remove overgrowth from base buildings.
Fixes for water wheels in moving water, cellars flooding, sunken tents and some grappling hook anchors.
Fish no longer occupy farm beds needed for animal breeding.
UI and quality of life
New Factories sorting options (by remaining production time and by product), and sort by name is back.
Destructible objects now show a grey health bar.
Darker background on the map marker filter overlay.
An open-mic mute toggle keybind for voice chat.
Stability, performance and audio
Skills and attacks no longer stop working after several hours of play.
More stable multiplayer when hosting very large bases, and fewer flickering shadows there.
Several crash fixes, improved surround mixing and restored survivor greetings.
Platform-specific
PC: save migration errors fixed (try again if yours failed), a higher memory budget for migrated bases, new AMD graphics settings and a random GPU crash fix.
PS5: fixes for starting a session from an invite, better touchpad controls, a lower default controller speaker volume and improved GTAO on base PS5.
Hotfix #4 (v1.0.1.1), November 3
Fixed a Patch #1 regression that made voice-over quieter than intended.
In multiplayer, loot pickup and harvesting sounds no longer play for every player.
Fixed voxel wall textures that made walls look like they were melting.
Fixed a water simulation crash and a log-flooding error that hurt performance.
PS5: fixed a crash when searching for dedicated servers.
Hotfix #5 (v1.0.1.2), November 4
Pinned recipes now stay pinned.
Fixed a rare water crash, a crash when bringing a deprecated item or blueprint into a world, and a very rare endless black screen when logging into certain worlds.
New Drops: The Artificer set
Keen also launched "Through Adversity, to the Stars" on November 3. It adds the five-piece Artificer vanity set, hidden around Embervale, plus two new craftable props, the Star Map and Ancient Globe, which unlock through the sidequest "Find the Orrery Rings". Talk to Mei-Yin Chen for journal hints. The first hint needs Mei and Loraine Crim unlocked and all Beacon Dungeons completed.
Twitch Drops started on November 3 at 3pm CET:

60 min | Artificer Gloves |
