How to Fast Travel in Runescape: Dragonwilds

Traveling across a game world can be full of fun and adventure. Sometimes, however, it can be a bit of a pain when hauling some goodies. Thankfully, there’s a solution. We’ll show you how to fast travel in Runescape: Dragonwilds.

Using fast travel isn’t something you can immediately do. However, it is unlocked fairly early on. To unlock and create a Lodestone, you’ll need a particular item that is pretty dangerous to acquire.

Unlocking the Lodestone and Finding a Vault Core

For you to unlock the Lodestone, you must find a Vault Core. To find a Vault Core, they’re secured within Vaults dotted throughout Ashenfall. Fortunately, there is a couple of Vaults in the first area of the map to the south and north – Temple Woods.

Once you’ve rummaged through the vault (of which you can find 2-3 Vault Cores in), you can begin to consider where you’d like to put your Lodestones (obtaining the Vault Core unlocks the Lodestone craft). Typically, the vault might be a bit difficult for a new player, especially if playing solo. As a result, make sure to bring plenty of ways to keep your health up – and your best gear.

If you’ve set up a couple of small bases while progressing through the game, this is the perfect time to start putting down some Lodestones. Once you’ve placed down one in each base of yours, interacting with the Lodestone brings up the fast travel menu.

As can be seen above, each fast travel costs Law Runes. You’ll also notice that the Lodestones can be seen on the map. Click on the Lodestone you wish to travel to, and that’s all you need to do!
