Armored fish

Armored fish Description
Fish with hard, mineralized or plasticized armor. May cover some or all of the body. Associated with territorial behavior. Dangerous to humans, perhaps more so than predators: akin to Earthly hippopotami or rhinoceroses. Known armored fish (such as the hammerhead) are highly divergent from other fish (such as the halfmoon), with different body plans, jaw structures, and sense organ layouts. This suggests an early split in their evolutionary history. Earth analog: placoderms (extinct).
