What Is New in World of Warcraft: Forever?
WoW: Forever blends classic Warcraft fantasy with modern design philosophy, introducing redesigned mechanics and fresh content to explore.
The Skyborne & Zephras Isle: A new playable race The Skyborne (shen'dorei) make their debut with a starting zone on Zephras Isle (levels 1 to 12-ish), featuring an elemental skybound narrative inspired by classic aesthetics. Players can align their Skyborne with either the Horde (Windshaper Shamans) or Alliance (High-Order Mages).
Expanded Race and Class Combinations: Character creation gains broader fantasy options, including Undead Paladins, Orc Mages, Dwarf Shamans, Gnome Priests, Human Hunters, and Troll Warlocks.
Account-Wide Legacy System: A new horizontal progression system that rewards account exploration. Players unlock account-wide Legacy Perks, Challenges, and Rewards by leveling alternate characters and mastering various professions.
Realmless Two-Name Structure: Instead of single character names restricted per server realm, WoW: Forever moves to a two-name regional structure. This grants players far more creative freedom when naming their heroes.
Social Camping System: Transforming the classic Cooking campfire into an interactive hub, campsites now allow up to three players to contribute profession-crafted Camp Features, giving resting adventurers exclusive party buffs and crafting bonuses.
Access and Content Roadmap

Access to World of Warcraft: Forever is included with any standard active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.
At launch on November 4, players will start from level 1 with a level cap of 60, featuring over 1,000 overhauled quests and nine new dungeons across Azeroth. To give everyone time to level and gear up, the initial raid tier, including Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia's Lair will unlock five weeks later on December 9, 2026.
Stay tuned to Metaforge for detailed class guides, leveling routes, and raid strategies as we dive into Azeroth on launch day!
