Damage ARC using Heavy Ammo Weapons: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To Damage ARC using Heavy Ammo weapons effectively:
- Load into any map
- Bring a couple of Heavy Ammo weapons of your choice (we recommend the Bettina and an Anvil)
- Bring a couple hundred Heavy Ammo minimum for 3,000 score. And 600+ if you want to try push as hard as possible with an additional Anvil and Bettina in your backpack
- Your score is gained based on your damage per shot to the ARC
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Damage ARC using Heavy Ammo weapons.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from damaging ARC using Heavy Ammo weapons. This means weapons such as the Bettina and Anvil. You earn roughly 0.7 score per 1 damage you deal to the ARC. You’ll have to approximately use around 100-200 Heavy Ammo rounds depending on weapons used to achieve the 3-star. As a result, we recommend bringing more than enough rounds, and potentially back-up weapons incase the original break.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires dealing as much damage to ARC using Heavy Ammo weapons as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, Heavy Ammo weapons and a ton of Heavy Ammo. We recommend bringing:
Anvil IV and 
Bettina IV (or a couple of each if you plan on hard pushing score)
Survivor MK.3 Augment - At least 200
Heavy Ammo or more - Medium Shield (recommended to survive accidents with a Bastion or Bombardier)
- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Damage ARC using Heavy Ammo weapons weekly Trial?
No, we do not currently recommend attempting this in a Free Loadout. Heavy Ammo weapons and a ton of Heavy Ammo are a must for the Trial. As a result, a Free Loadout where you cannot bring your own equipment would create a lot of issues.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
There is not a best map to recommend for this Trial. This particular Trial is very freeform so you can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
Strategy
With this Trial there is no clear winner strategy to get your 3-star reward quick and easy. Instead, you can just load into a map you enjoy and know your way around and shoot every ARC that moves. You can also utilize our Interactive Map to scope out some nice zones to fire Heavy Ammo rounds off into. For example, take a look at Spaceport!
Once you’ve achieved the score you’re happy with, you can extract. There really is no clear cut strategy with this one. So to recap:
- Load into any map you enjoy or know the layout of (or utilize our Interactive Map)
- Bring tons of Heavy Ammo and a couple Heavy Ammo Weapons
- Deal damage to any and all ARC you wish to engage
- After getting 3,000+ score, extract at your own wish!
