In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Loot ARC Enemies to maximize your score and etch your place in the Speranza hotshots.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from Searching ARC enemies. Each ARC part searched by yourself of your squad mates gives you 121 score.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as much ARC parts as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a good weapon for killing small and medium ARC, some good movement utility and if you wish to push for more points, big explosives or large firepower. We recommend bringing:
- Anvil IV to deal with ARC (and some Heavy Ammo)
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield
- 10
Shield Rechargers - 10-15
Bandages - 10-15
Adrenaline Shots - 2-5
Smoke Grenades - Some
Ziplines or
Snap Hook
Photoelectric Cloak (this is not a must, but is nice to have)
If you want to destroy a Bastion or a Leaper perhaps to gain more score by searching all their parts, we recommend bringing items such as a
Deadline mine or plenty of
Trailblazer Grenades to destroy Leapers.
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Loot ARC enemies weekly Trial?
Yes, you can use a Free Loadout to get 3,000 score for your weekly 3-star rewards in this Trial. However, to get a larger score for promotion, we recommend a full loadout as your ammo and resources would be limited otherwise.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
The best map to push for an effective score is Riven Tides. We believe due to the sheer amount of ARC presence on the map, and the map itself not being massive, you’ll get plenty of bang for your buck. Check our Event Timers incase you want to attempt the trial on a specific condition!
The BEST Route for Maximizing Score
The best options for gaining score in this Trial is to start your attempt by heading straight to the Hotel POI. We recommend the Hotel first due to the high density of small ARC such as Pops and Fireballs inside each floor of the Hotel. However, there is also a good vantage point on the rooftops to take down many flying ARC.
Solo Lobby
Heading to the Hotel as a solo is a great start to the Trial. To reach 3,000 score and earn a 3-star reward for the week, you’ll need to search 25 ARC enemy parts. It is important to note that by “parts” we mean that, for example, you can destroy a Leaper and loot multiple destroyed parts. Each part gives you 121 score. As a result, ARC such as Leapers or Rocketeers net you more score than a standard ARC!
Inside the hotel, there is plenty of ARC to get some free score on with little risk. However, Shredders can still be scary. Despite that, you’ll find plenty of Ticks, Pops, Fireballs etc.
By clearing out the entire Hotel, and cleaning up any flying ARC nearby (and the Ticks hanging around at the outside bar), you’ll easily reach the 3,000 score threshold at just the hotel alone. However, if you wish to push for me, you can start rotating to the Harbor and collect some more ARC enemies to search.
Squad Lobby
In Squads, we recommend splitting up into three areas. This way, you’ll gain score significantly faster and end with a way higher total score. We recommend setting up the party in the following way:
- Player 1: On top of the Hotel (after clearing all the floors ARC)
- Player 2: Using high ground either on the Stacking Yard POI or the Port Authority Building
- Player 3: Rotating between Custom House and Stacking Yard (using any high ground needed to aggro ARC from range)
With this set-up, you should have the whole map covered and earn plenty of score. Once you’ve got enough points for your squad, you can head to the nearest extract and leave!
