ARC Raiders Scrappy Feeding Boost Guide
Scrappy Feeding lets you feed Scrappy fruits and mushrooms from Topside, and in return he’ll bring back bonus resources and a random reward item after every raid. Depending on what you feed him, Scrappy can drop everything from basic crafting materials to
Queen Reactors,
Matriarch Reactors,
Mk.3 Augments,
Photoelectric Cloaks, and even tools like the
Snaphook. There are 7 food items in total, each tied to a different loot pool – here’s how the system works and what to feed Scrappy to get the rewards you actually need.

How Scrappy Feeding Works in ARC Raiders

Head to the Workshop, select Scrappy, and switch to the Feed tab. From there, you can add any food items sitting in your Stash into a Food Queue that holds up to 6 items. Scrappy eats one food per raid, in the exact order you set them, and the bonuses from that food apply for that run.
Each food gives you two bonuses per raid. First, a Resource Bonus – a flat +5 of a specific base material like
Metal Parts or
Fabric. Second, a Feeding Reward – one random item pulled from a loot pool tied to that specific food. Some pools include common crafting materials, while others have a chance at rare gear like
Shield Rechargers, Mk.3 Augments, or even Queen and Matriarch Reactors.
After each raid, your rewards show up in the Collection Box back at the Workshop. This box has a capacity cap, so make sure you clear it between raids – if it’s full, Scrappy can’t store anything new and you’ll miss out on rewards. Both bonuses expire after a single match, and Scrappy moves on to the next food in the queue automatically.
The Scrappy Feeding system is available from Level 1, but a higher-level Scrappy pulls better items from the loot pools. If you haven’t maxed out your Scrappy upgrades yet, that should be your first priority – feeding premium food to a low-level Scrappy won’t give you the best returns.

What to Feed Scrappy – All 7 Foods and Their Rewards
There are 7 food items you can feed Scrappy, each tied to a specific Resource Bonus and a unique Feeding Reward loot pool. The loot pool corresponds to a specific Speranza crafting station, so you can target exactly the type of materials you need. Here’s the full breakdown of every food, what resource it boosts, and what kind of rewards Scrappy can bring back.
Agave – Mods and Attachments
Resource Bonus: +5 Chemicals

Agave pulls from the Mods loot pool, making it one of the best picks if you’re trying to upgrade your weapon builds. The reward pool focuses on mod crafting materials and weapon attachments. If you’re chasing specific attachments or mod-related parts, stack Agave in your queue.

Apricot – Gunsmith Materials
Resource Bonus: +5 Metal Parts

Apricots target the Gunsmith loot pool. Common drops include things like
Magnet,
Oil,
Simple Gun Parts, and
Wires. But the real reason Apricots are so popular is the small chance of Scrappy bringing back a Queen Reactor or Matriarch Reactor – items you’d normally need to take down the game’s toughest bosses to get. It’s a low chance, but it’s there, and players have confirmed it happens.

Lemon – Explosive Station Materials
Resource Bonus: +5 Plastic Parts

Lemons lean into the Explosive Station loot pool. You’ll see common drops like
ARC Alloy,
Battery,
Crude Explosives, and Oil. The rare pulls here are actual grenades –
Blaze Grenade,
Heavy Fuze Grenade, and
Showstopper, plus a smaller chance at a
Wolfpack or
Deadline. If you’re constantly burning through explosives, Lemons are your friend.

Mushroom – Gear Bench Materials and Augments
Resource Bonus: +5 Fabric

Mushrooms pull from the Gear Bench loot pool, which makes them the go-to for gear and shield components. Common drops include ARC Alloy, Battery, and Magnet. But the real value here is the Augments. You’ve got a shot at Combat Mk.2, Looting Mk.2, and Tactical Mk.2, and even tier-3 variants like Combat Mk.3 (Aggressive) and Looting Mk.3 (Survivor) at lower odds. If you need Augment upgrades, Mushrooms are the play.

Olives – Medical Lab Materials
Resource Bonus: +5 Rubber Parts

Olives specialize in the Medical Lab loot pool. Common drops include
ARC Powercell,
Canister, and
Great Mullein. You’ll also see healing consumables like
Vita Spray and
Vita Shot at lower rates, plus
Herbal Bandage and
Sterilized Bandage. A solid pick if you want to keep your medical supplies topped up without spending crafting materials.

Prickly Pear – Utility Station Materials
Resource Bonus: +5 Assorted Seeds

Prickly Pears cover the Utility Station loot pool. Six common items share the top drop rate – Canister,
Electrical Components,
Mechanical Components,
Rope,
Sensors, and
Speaker Component. The rare pulls are where it gets interesting: there’s a chance at a Photoelectric Cloak,
Power Rod, and even a
Snap Hook. If you want utility tools showing up passively, Prickly Pear is the pick.

Fruit Mix – The Best of Everything
Resource Bonus: +5 of ALL base resources

Fruit Mix is the wildcard and arguably the most valuable food you can feed Scrappy. It draws from a combined loot pool across all categories and drops two items instead of one. The resource bonus also applies to every base material type, not just one. Common drops include ARC Alloy, ARC Powercell, Battery, Canister, and Wires. Rare drops include both Matriarch Reactor and Queen Reactor.
The catch? Fruit Mix can only be crafted during a raid using the in-round crafting system – you can’t make it in the Workshop. The recipe is 1 Lemon + 1 Apricot + 1 Prickly Pear, and you’ll need the In-Round Crafting skill from the Survival skill tree unlocked first. If you can keep a steady supply of Fruit Mix going, it’s the most efficient option for general progression.

Best Food to Feed Scrappy Based on Your Goals
With 7 foods to choose from, the right pick depends entirely on what you’re trying to craft or farm. Here’s a quick breakdown by goal so you can set your queue with purpose.

Chasing Queen or Matriarch Reactors: Go with Apricots for a focused Gunsmith pool, or Fruit Mix for slightly better reactor odds plus broader resource coverage. Either way, it’s a long game – the drop rates are low, but it beats fighting a Queen every time.
Need Augments (Mk.2 / Mk.3):Mushrooms are the only food with Augments in the loot pool. If you’re hunting for Looting Mk.3 (Survivor) or Combat Mk.3 (Aggressive), this is the only choice.
Stocking up on explosives and grenades:Lemons pull from the Explosive Station pool, giving you a shot at Blaze Grenades, Showstoppers, and crafting materials for more.
Want utility tools passively:Prickly Pears can drop Photoelectric Cloaks, Power Rods, and Snap Hooks – items that are normally a pain to find or craft.
General progression, no specific target:Fruit Mix covers everything. Doubled drops, +5 to all base resources, and access to the broadest loot pool. If you have the ingredients and the In-Round Crafting skill, it’s the default choice.
Where to Find Food for Scrappy Feeding
Keeping Scrappy’s queue full means picking up Nature items during your raids. Each food type spawns in specific environments, so knowing where to look saves you a lot of wandering. You can use our Interactive Maps to find exact spawn locations for every food item. Here’s where to focus your farming for each one.
Apricots – Best Locations to Find Apricots in ARC Raiders
Found on fruit trees you can kick to drop them. The best spot is the Olive Grove on Blue Gate, which is packed with Apricot and Lemon trees. Marano Park in the center of Buried City is another reliable option, though it’s a busier area. Red Lakes on Dam Battlegrounds is a quieter alternative with decent spawn density.

Lemons – Best Locations to Find Lemons in ARC Raiders
Grow on the same types of fruit trees as Apricots. The Olive Grove on Blue Gate is the best all-in-one spot since it spawns Lemons, Apricots, and Olives together. You’ll also find them near the Library and Town Hall area in Buried City, and along the northern trench on Spaceport.

Olives – Best Location to Find Olives in ARC Raiders
Found on the ground near olive trees, which are slightly larger than Lemon and Apricot trees. The Olive Grove on Blue Gate is by far the best and most consistent spot. You can kick the trees to drop more. Look around the outskirts of the orchard for the highest density.

Prickly Pears – Best Locations to Find Prickly Pears in ARC Raiders
Spawn on the ground around cactus plants – not on the cacti themselves, but at their base. The southern cactus groves in Buried City have the highest concentration. You can also find them near the Power Generation Complex on Dam Battlegrounds. Spawns are random each raid, so don’t panic if a patch comes up empty.

Mushrooms – Where to Find Mushrooms in ARC Raiders
The trickiest food to farm consistently. Mushrooms grow in damp areas and at the base of dead, vertical trees that have decorative (non-interactable) mushrooms on them. Dam Battlegrounds is the best map overall – check the swamp areas and the Hydroponic Dome. Mushroom spawns are contested enough that the community has jokingly dubbed the competition the “Mushroom Wars,” so expect company.

Agave
Found across desert zones, mainly on Buried City and Spaceport. Less documented than other food items, but you’ll run into them in the same areas where Prickly Pears spawn.
Stella Montis Battery Room – The Secret One-Stop Shop
The Battery Room (also called the Fridge) in the Atrium on Stella Montis is one of the best spots for stocking up on food. It usually has 2 baskets that can spawn all the different food items Scrappy eats – Apricots, Lemons, Olives, Mushrooms, Prickly Pears, and Agave. If you’re running Stella Montis anyway, always swing by here to top off your queue.

Lush Blooms Map Condition – The Best Time to Farm Food
The Lush Blooms weather modifier is a game-changer for food farming. It massively boosts Nature item spawn rates across the entire map and spawns extra Wicker Baskets that can contain a mix of all food types. The best map for Lush Blooms farming is Dam Battlegrounds – head to the Hydroponic Dome area for maximum yield. Keep an eye on the Event Timers so you don’t miss it.
Scrappy Feeding Tips – Get the Most Out of Every Raid
1. Clear the Collection Box After Every Raid
The Collection Box has a capacity cap. If it’s full, Scrappy can’t store new rewards and you’ll lose out on whatever he found. Make it a habit – extract, check the box, then queue up your next raid. It takes 5 seconds and could save you a Queen Reactor.
2. Scrappy Feeding Queue Order Matters
Scrappy eats food in the exact order you set it. If you need Metal Parts and your Apricots are sitting behind five Agaves, you won’t see any Metal Parts bonus until those Agaves are done. Front-load your highest-priority food in slot 1. Don’t just toss things in randomly.
3. Short Raids Beat Long Ones for Feeding Efficiency
Raid length doesn’t affect the quality of your Feeding Reward – Scrappy rolls the same loot pool whether you’re in for 7 minutes or 25. That means shorter, consistent raids give you more rolls per hour. If you’re specifically farming Scrappy rewards, quick focused runs are the way to go.
4. Craft Fruit Mix Whenever You Can
Fruit Mix is the highest-value food in the system – doubled drops, +5 to all resources, and the broadest loot pool. Get the In-Round Crafting skill unlocked, gather 1 Lemon, 1 Apricot, and 1 Prickly Pear during a raid, and craft it on the spot. Buried City is a great map for this – the area between the Town Hall and Library has Lemon and Apricot trees, and there’s a cactus patch south of the station for Prickly Pears.
5. Don’t Sleep on Scrappy Feeding – It Compounds
No single Scrappy Feeding reward is going to blow your mind. But over dozens of raids with a consistently full queue, the materials add up fast. You’re getting free crafting resources on top of everything you loot during the raid. It’s a system that rewards consistency, not individual luck.
