Deal Damage using a Bully Fragmenter: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
To deal damage using a Bully Fragmenter effectively:
- Load into any map with a
Bombardier spawn (with PvE mode toggled if possible), we’ll use Riven Tides for this guide - Use our interactive map to figure out the Bombardiers you wish to use
- Make use of cover around you to avoid the Bombardier rockets
- Throw the Bully Fragmenters under the Bombardier for maximum damage output
- Extract when you’re done with your score and get your 3-star rewards!
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires dealing as much damage as possible with Bully Fragmenters within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need basic medical consumables, a back-up weapon for general ARC clearing and emergencies, and of course, as many Bully Fragmenters as you could farm. We recommend bringing:
- Bantam IV or
Anvil IV with a stack or two of 
Heavy Ammo 
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield
- 5+
Shield Rechargers - 5-10+
Bandages 
Adrenaline Shots
Lure Grenades optional - As many Bully Fragmenters as you can farm up
What is a Bully Fragmenter?
The Bully Fragmenter is a useable item dropped from a Bully ARC. You can throw the Bully Fragmenter to have it split into cluster bombs that explode. Farming Bullies is not the most ideal, however, you can check ARC Couriers on Electromagnetic Storm maps to farm them up over time.
Which map is best for this trial?
Any map is technically fine for this trial. However, we’ll use Riven Tides for this guide. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is at any preferred conditions!
How to get the best score for this trial
This Trial is fairly tricky to get a high score in. Not only do you need to get the Fragmenter to land directly under the ARC you’re throwing it at, you also need to take a lot of time to farm the Fragmenters. As a result, this is a time consuming task to take on. When you do have enough Fragmenters though, simply:
- Check out the map above to scout out some Bombardier spawns
- Once you find a
Bombardier, prepare some cover - Aim your Fragmenter directly under the Bombardier to ensure the clusters stay as close as possible to it
- Make sure you have close cover but also can get close enough to the Bombardier – the throw range of the Fragmenter is not very far
- The Fragmenter takes time to detonate, you’ll have to time moving away from the Bombardier (to avoid getting blasted by it) to ensure you get a lot of score
- It is very tricky to pull off at first, but it’ll get the job done and get you the 3-star reward!
Feel free to take your time between Fragmenter throws as each one is vital that it lands correctly. The Bombardier is a perfect target as it’s not really armored. This allows for as much damage as possible compared to throwing one at a Bastion or a Leaper even.
You’ll earn anywhere from around 200-450~ score depending on how well the clusters land. As a reminder, this trial is tricky and time consuming, but doable. You can also shoot the 
Spotters out before engaging to ensure a safer escape.
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Deal damage using a Bully Fragmenter weekly Trial?
We do not recommend using a Free Loadout for this trial. You need to bring in a full inventory of Bully Fragmenters to even attempt the trial.
