Loot Weapon Crates: How to get the BEST score on ARC Raiders Trials
To Loot Weapon Crates effectively:
- Load into the Dam Battlegrounds map
- Check the map
- Bring a ton of Adrenaline Shots to keep moving
- Open every Weapon Crate you find for 1,000 score each
- Bring additional keys for Dam Battlegrounds to unlock more potential rooms for score
In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and loot Weapon Crates to maximize your score and etch your place in the Speranza hotshots.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level, whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 3000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only applies to when you loot Weapon Crates on any map or condition. Score per crate is 1,000. Looting 3 Weapon Crates is enough to reach the 3,000 score mark for the 3-star rewards.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many Weapon Crates as possible within the raids time limit. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials, a ton of stamina regeneration and maybe a gun to defend yourself with. We recommend bringing:
- Any gun + Ammo you feel like bringing as a back-up plan
Survivor MK.3 Augment - Medium Shield
- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5-10
Bandages - As many stacks of
Adrenaline Shots as you can for freedom of movement - Ziplines or a
Snap Hook for traversal is optional - Keys that open rooms to potential Weapon Crates
Can I use a Free Loadout for the Loot Weapon Crates weekly Trial?
Yes, you can use a Free Loadout to get 3,000 score for your weekly 3-star rewards in this Trial.
Should I use aggression-based matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.
Map
The best map to push for an effective score is Dam Battlegrounds. You can do this on the normal map or any conditions you prefer. Check our Event Timers to know when your next chance is!
Solo Lobby
In solo, we recommend starting your run by passing through the entire Dam section of the map.
This route is by far the easiest to pick up at least 3 Weapon Crates for your 3-star reward. It is important to note that you can loot and already looted Weapon Crate to obtain score.
If you have enough time to hit the side locations on the map above, feel free, you never know how many Weapon Crates have spawned!
Party Lobby
As a party, you can split yourself up between these locations, doing so will allow you all to gain as much points as possible (depending on the amount of Weapon Crates spawned) in good time. Any remaining possible spawns outside of the zones shown above can be rotated to by any player. Make sure to bring any key(s) needed for your area!
With this method you can easily push into 10,000+ score providing you have good luck on the spawns.
