Search Containers in the Medical Research wing: How to get the BEST score in ARC Raiders Trials
Trials in ARC Raiders brings together the community to complete various challenges week by week to be placed on a competitive leaderboard. Raiders are tasked with participating in 5 different Trials (which rotate into a new set of Trials every week too). The goal is simple – gain as much score as possible in each Trial objective in an attempt to promote in Trial Rank. Of course, plenty of Raiders only want to cash in their quick 4000 score for the 3-Star rewards each week too. In this guide, we’ll go over the best ways to approach and Search Containers in the Medical Research wing to maximize your score and etch your place in the Speranza Hotshots.
Trial Preparation
This trial can be done in all party sizes to an effective level. Whether that’s gaining your 3-star rating (which requires 4000 score) or pushing to maximize your points for promotion.
Scoring
The scoring for this Trial only comes from looting containers in Medical Research on Stella Montis. Each container awards you 268 score on a 2x event modifier, 134 on standard.
What you’ll need
For this Trial, the objective requires searching as many containers within the raids time limit as possible. As a result, you’ll mostly need essentials and a good weapon for killing small ARC and Shredders. We recommend bringing:
Anvil IV (Can be Anvil I but IV is preferred for the Fire Rate)- Any Augment
Light Shield- 5
Shield Rechargers - 5
Bandages - 40-80
Heavy Ammo
Can I use a Free Loadout to Search Containers in the Medical Research wing for the weekly Trials?
Absolutely, we recommend this option to use a Free Loadout for the weekly trial if you don’t want to put any gear at risk. You’ll only be looting containers in this one specific area, as a result, you do not need a full loadout to succeed.
Should I use Aggression-based Matchmaking for friendly lobbies?
Yes, we also highly recommend utilizing this method for friendly lobbies as it yields consistently safe results.

The BEST Route for Maximizing Score
There is no perfect preset route for this Trial. However, it is a relatively simple trial as you’ll only have to look around the Medical Research area for any searchable loot containers. As a result, you’ll easily achieve a high score. Instead, we recommend that you split Medical Research in “half” sections, so you can easily remember which section you have covered. This is due to having a ground floor and upper floor in Medical Research.
Of course, you do not have to do this, but it helps to keep track of what you’ve searched and what you haven’t. Which section you start off in is up to you, based on either spawn or the way you entered the Medical Research. It is important to note the types of containers available in Medical Research that count towards score. For example:
- Trash bins
- Medical Drawers
- Desk Drawers
- Electrical Cabinets
- Breach-able Electrics
- Slide-out Medical Trays
- Breach-able Data Servers
- Rectangle Black Boxes
- Medical Bags
- Ammo Crates
- Weapons Case
- Raider Bag
- Cabinets
- Medical Cupboards
Each of the above are all potential loot spawns, although they’re not guaranteed in every location available. As a result, you’ll have to check carefully in each room to ensure you missed nothing. See below the various rooms and their example loot areas.
As can be seen, there’s a ton of container types to pay attention to inside the rooms, nooks and crannies of the Medical Research.
Medical Storage Key Room
Inside the Medical Research, there is a room that can only be accessed with the correct key. In this case, it is the 
Stella Montis Medical Storage Key. Opening this key room gives you access to much more loot-able containers, further increasing your score. As a result, keep an eye on whether or not it’s been opened by another player, or you have the key yourself. Inside there is the potential for weapon cases, multiple cabinets and more.
Depending on luck, you can expect to earn around 10,000-15,000 score as a top-end result for this weekly Trial. Good luck and good looting.
Fast 3-Star Rewards and Alternative Options
For a fast 3-star reward, simply head to Stella Montis inside the Medical Research. There isn’t a particularly best way to get the 3-star rewards, however, you’ll have to search 15 loot containers to get your 4000 score threshold. After that, you can head to the extract and get back to Speranza!
