Coffee The Greatest Good Quest in Enshrouded

To complete Coffee, The Greatest Good Quest in Enshrouded, speak to the Barber to begin the quest, then travel to Stillwater Bay, northwest of Veilwater Basin. Explore the abandoned shrouded village to collect all three coffee recipes, then climb into the final building to retrieve both the Coffee Brewery and Coffee Drum Roaster. Once secured, return home to place them and begin brewing coffee.

This quest unlocks the ability to craft coffee, giving access to powerful stamina-focused drink buffs which support late-game exploration, underwater routes and temple challenges.

Step 1 – Speak to the Barber to Start the Quest

Begin by visiting the Barber NPC at your base and selecting the dialogue option Coffee Date. Doing so grants the quest Coffee, The Greatest Good, sending you into the shrouded coastal district of Stillwater Bay in search of lost brewing equipment and three unique coffee recipes. Make sure you are prepared for shroud exposure and light combat, as the route will take you through hostile areas and corrupted ground.

Step 2 – Travel to Stillwater Bay

Stillwater Bay is located northwest of Veilwater Basin Spire, but the easiest approach is to first travel to Starfish Shores. If you have placed an altar there, fast travel to it directly, then head west along the coastline until the fog thickens and you approach the ruined settlement.

Move toward the respawn point north of the quest marker to secure a safe return route.

Once inside the shrouded village, you have officially reached Stillwater Bay, and the search for coffee begins.

Step 3 – Find the First Recipe – Sweet Mocha

Follow the path down into the shroud from the respawn point. The first building on your left, you will find a Repair Station, giving you a chance to fix damaged weapons or armor.

Exit the building, go down the stone steps, then turn right and follow the next pathway deeper into the bay. When the main path bends left, look to the left side of a broken structure where a red glowing item stands out.

Climb over the debris, move carefully past the fire damage and loot the container to obtain your first recipe: Sweet Mocha. A chest beside it contains bonus potions—grab these before moving on.

Step 4 – Collect the Second Recipe – Latte

Leave the building and turn left, crossing the wooden beam that spans a collapsed section of road. Move forward past the shroud tentacles and look to your left for another building with an exposed interior.

Once inside, check the left wall for a climbable surface. Ascend it to reach the upper floor, where you’ll find both a lore page and the Latte recipe resting on a desk.

Turn around and follow the fractured flooring across, then drop back down into the outer streets of Stillwater Bay.

Step 5 – Unlock the Final Recipe – Black Coffee

As soon as you are outside again, look right and locate a billboard with a note pinned to it. Collect the page, then break open the nearby wooden door and move through the next open room.

Continue straight into the building across from it and you’ll reach another locked doorway. Use a Lockpick to enter, then immediately look left for another climbable wall.

Ascend to the top level and turn around. On a table behind you rests the third and final recipe – Black Coffee.

Step 6 – Retrieve the Coffee Brewery and Drum Roaster

Once you have collected the Black Coffee recipe, turn around and follow the building along until you reach a ladder on the far side. Jump across, climb the ladder and enter the upper room where both the Coffee Brewery and Coffee Drum Roaster are located.

These two workstations are essential for processing beans and crafting all coffee drinks in Enshrouded, so make sure you pick up both before leaving. Once collected, open your map and fast travel home so you can place them at your base.

Step 7 – Place Your New Coffee Stations and Complete the Quest

Return home to your base and place the Coffee Brewery and Coffee Drum Roaster wherever you choose.

With all three recipes—Sweet Mocha, Latte and Black Coffee—in your possession and the two crafting stations secured, Coffee – The Greatest Good will complete. You now have full access to coffee brewing, unlocking a new tier of stamina-focused consumables perfect for temple progression, exploration and high-intensity traversal across Veilwater Basin.
