Your inner Flame illuminates paths, grants access to Ancient Spires and enables Fast Travel. The Flame can be strengthened at a Flame Altar.
Page 2 · Strengthening The Flame
Upgrading the Flame Altar expands your protection range. Upgrading the Flame Altar requires a Shroud Core. Shroud Cores are aquired by smiting boss enemies. Sacrifices raise the Flame Level and add a point to all attributes of every Flameborn. They also increase your Shroud Passage Level, which is necessary to pierce the Shroud further. Sacrifices require Sparks. Find Sparks in Flame Sanctums and Flame Shrines.
