Where to Find Mother of Pearls in Enshrouded

Mother of Pearls were added to Enshrouded with the Wake of the Water Update, and they’re found underwater around the Veil Water Basin Spire. To collect them, you’ll need the Mining Sieve, unlocked after completing the “A Tool for Underwater Mining” quest from Oswald Anders, the blacksmith. Once equipped, dive beneath the water near the spire and gather Mother of Pearls from the underwater nodes that respawn over time.

Step 1 – Complete “A Tool for Underwater Mining”

To collect Mother of Pearls, you must first complete the quest “A Tool for Underwater Mining” from Oswald Anders, the blacksmith. Finishing this quest gives you the Mining Sieve, which is required to gather underwater materials. Without it, you won’t be able to collect Mother of Pearls or any other underwater resources.

Step 2 – Travel to the Veil Water Basin Spire

After obtaining the Mining Sieve, fast travel to the Veil Water Basin Spire. This location is the best and most efficient spot to gather Mother of Pearls. The waters surrounding the spire contain several underwater resource nodes that respawn, making it ideal for quick farming sessions.

Step 3 – Equip the Mining Sieve and Dive

Equip your Mining Sieve, dive down into the water, and search the basin floor for the Pearl-bearing nodes. These nodes are scattered around the same areas where you gather Gold Ore, and they will respawn over time. Collect as many as you need while keeping track of your oxygen gauge.

Make sure to look out for Clams too, as they can spawn on Mother of Pearl terrain which can have actual Pearls inside which are needed to strengthen your flame.

Step 4 – Gather Mother of Pearls While Managing Oxygen

As you mine underwater, watch your oxygen meter. When it drops to around eight seconds, return to the surface to refresh it before heading back down. Mother of Pearls are not required for progression like Gold Ore, but they are useful to collect for crafting later in the game, so gathering a supply while you’re already here is worthwhile.

Step 5 – Save Mother of Pearls for Future Crafting Needs

Mother of Pearls are not an urgent or progression-critical resource, but they become valuable later on for certain crafting recipes introduced with the update. Once you have a stack of them, store them at your base for when new crafting opportunities arise.
