Guild Wars 2

To complete the Revitalizing the Forge achievement in Guild Wars 2 and get your three AP, you need to catch thrown construct parts and assemble twenty new stewards for Leywright Edifi.

This takes place in the new Visions of Eternity map, Eternity’s Garden. It is a straightforward grind, but it gets tedious quickly if you don’t know how the workbench mechanics operate or what the individual parts actually do to your character while you are carrying them.

Event Location

You need to head to Artificer’s Islet in Eternity’s Garden. Specifically, the event takes place at the Gardesano’s Atelier point of interest.

Look for an NPC named Lonely Leywright Edifi. The dynamic event you are waiting for is called “Help Steward Edifi build more stewards.” If it isn’t active when you arrive, you just have to stand around the forge and wait for it to trigger.

The Workbench Mechanics

The forge area contains four separate workstations. To build a single steward, you must deposit four different construct pieces at one specific workstation. You cannot just throw random parts onto a table; it requires exactly one head, one body, one set of arms, and one set of legs.

The pieces are randomly thrown out into the room by the nearby infusers. You will see an indicated circle on the ground where a piece is going to land. You just have to stand in the circle to catch it.

Every time you catch a piece, it applies a specific status effect to your character. This is how you identify what you are holding.

Construct PieceStatus EffectMechanic Warning
HeadpieceShocksPeriodically applies bleeding to your character.
BodyHeavy Steward BodyDrastically slows your movement speed.
ArmsSlapsKnocks you down if you don’t reach a workbench within 5 seconds.
LegsNoneIncreases your jump height.

If you catch the Arms, you need to run straight to a workstation immediately. Getting knocked down repeatedly just drags the event out.

Assembly and Delivery

Once you have deposited all four required parts at a single workstation, you need to interact with the hammer at that table to physically build the steward.

After you hit it with the hammer, pick up the assembled steward and walk it over to the Major Ley Infuser, which is located right next to Edifi. Turning it in registers as one completed steward. You need to do this twenty times in total to finish the “Revitalizing the Forge” achievement. You don’t have to do it all in one sitting; the progress carries over across multiple event spawns.

Efficiency Tips

Since the pieces thrown by the infusers are entirely random, you will inevitably catch a piece that you have already deposited at your current workstation.

If this happens, do not waste time slowly walking to the table just to be told you can’t place it. You can simply use your weapon swap or drop key to drop the duplicate piece on the ground and run to catch a different one.

Alternatively, you can actively manage multiple workstations at once. When you catch a duplicate piece for table one, just walk over and deposit it at table two.

Once you build your twentieth steward, the achievement will pop, and you never have to do this event again unless you are trying to farm the rare Mini Apprentice Steward of Galdra drop.
