How to Craft a Glass Vessel in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
You can craft a Glass Vessel by taking Molten Glass to a Jeweler’s bench, a process that first requires mining and refining both Sandstone and Limestone. Unlike some of the combat-heavy material runs, making glass components is mostly a base-management task. It requires a bit of time spent walking between different crafting stations, but it is a relatively relaxing process once you have the raw materials gathered.
The Molten Glass Crafting Process
Before you can even look at a Jeweler’s bench, you need to make Molten Glass. This intermediate material is the foundation for all glass goods in the game. To make it, you need to combine Ground Sandstone and Ground Limestone. Sandstone has been around for a while, so if you’ve been playing regularly, you likely have a stockpile of it sitting in your storage chests. Limestone is the newer material that you will need to actively seek out.

Gathering Sandstone and Limestone
If you are starting from scratch and need both resources, Dowdun Reach is the place to be. You can find nodes for both Sandstone and Limestone scattered throughout this region. As I mentioned in the Limestone guide, following the water elevations is a safe and reliable way to gather what you need. If you are ever unsure of the exact spawn points, checking our interactive map will show you all the specific node locations in Dowdun Reach.

Grinding Materials at Your Base
Once your inventory is full of raw stone, head back to your base. The first station you need to use is the Grindstone. The conversion rate here is simple: one raw Sandstone yields one Ground Sandstone, and one raw Limestone yields one Ground Limestone.

The processing time for a single piece isn’t very long, but the timer adds up quickly if you are processing a massive stack. If you plan on doing a lot of glass crafting in the future, it is honestly worth your time to build a second or even a third Grindstone at your base to speed up the bottleneck.
Smelting and Final Assembly
With your ground materials ready, walk over to your Blast Furnace. You will need to load it with fuel pellets to get it running. The recipe for Molten Glass requires a balanced mix of your refined powders.
- Insert 3 Ground Limestone and 3 Ground Sandstone to yield 1 Molten Glass.

After the furnace finishes smelting, take your freshly made Molten Glass over to the Jeweler’s bench. When you interact with the bench, you will see a list of various glass goods available for crafting. Select the Glass Vessel from the menu, wait a moment for the progress bar, and you are done. It’s a bit tedious moving from station to station, but having a streamlined base layout definitely makes the whole routine feel less like a chore.
